Re: Working Wednesday
Yeah, I should have been working but went back to bed for a bit....I was still awake a little after 11 last night and then ddogs got me up at 5:30 when dMacs was ready for breakfast.
Dh took ds to work this morning, thankfully, so I haven't had to go out. Dd came home and is upstairs asleep.
Sometimes I think that I only have two speeds - all out busy, or nothing.
-clear kitchen counters
-empty dishwasher
-respond to email from yesterday a.m.
-change clothes
-walk ddogs
Will s2s later before I head to 5:30 meeting. I am planning for dd to pick up ds from work today.
Ready, set go!

Re: Working Wednesday
Good morning, villagers ~
I had to leave the computer off last night because we had multiple thunderstorms roll through Tiny Town. No damage here that I know of, but I saw on the tv news at 10 that other towns had large hail.
This afternoon is LEGO Club at the library. I am working on some signs for the theme of the day. I will have to go to the library at least an hour early to finish the display board because they are printing some pictures for me, since I don't have a color printer. (We tried to print things last week but their color printer needed ink.) I have not heard from the other volunteer, but she is reliable so I'm taking it on faith that she will be there today.
I hear the dryer buzzing. Break time is over.

Amen to that!// // // // // That is applause for the mother that walked into the spraying water to confront her child for pushing LO down. I have no doubt that she made a big impression on her ds and he won't be doing that again. KUDOS to her for not worrying about what anyone thought and stopping that behavior on the spot.
Think Ivy said something yesterday that produced a spark in me. Now have to go back & see just what that was -I sure accomplished a lot toward making the RV look like I want.
Very gray out this morning & I think there's rain in our forecast but a stellar weekend is in store (if the weathermen be right).
I'm very 'clock' messed up today. We stayed awake and watched DWTS till the very end last night. I dozed off for all of 10 minutes and then was up and down until after 4am.
Good for you, Twins -one whole day without running with/for ds! I know of what you speak. Back in the day, DS-R had wrecked his fiancé's car coming off an icy bridge. That put us down to 2 cars. Think dh took himself to work BUT I ended up running the fiance' to work, then DS-R to work, eldest DD to college which was a 55 mile RT, then did it all in reverse later in the day. Remember I was driving well over 200 miles each day -and I wondered why I couldn't get anything done!

Re: Working Wednesday
11:30 - yep, raining. Knew the temp was dropping -had to crank the heat up little. Dh was just in and said he'd be back in 1/2 hour for lunch. Any bets it'll be sooner? He'll be shivering his timbers.
Just finished cleaning/clearing out a basket that I thought would take me 'forever' -all of about 12 minutes. Have a 'card' bin for all of dh's cards he got throughout his long recuperation process last summer/fall. Think I'll put it by his chair for him to go through and toss as he views each one. I've always been a patsy for keeping all cards and I know there's no longer any room or really any reason. Am I really going to go through them again? Some I kept -like all the cards/notes we received when dShelley passed away and have them all in a box with some other keepsakes from her life.
Guess I'll start dh's lunch (and mine). That way he can eat and rest as soon as he comes in.

Re: Working Wednesday
Hello all! Sorry, no time to properly cuops here. We are gray, 73* right now, and forecast to get up to 80. It is rather humid too. bleh. The sun is peeking out right now.
For having been up for over 4 hours, I don't have much to show for it. There is plenty of work to be done. Let's see if I can make a dent in it.
x I've done emails; received some helpful ones, one irritating one, and responded to a couple organizational ones.
x a.m. routine is done, minus making the bed
x chatted with dh re: party again - what he can do, what we can hire garden guy to do, what I can do. . .
x am keeping laundry going, have folded 1 lol and some drip dries. They are mostly put away. Another lol is washing.
x have had 1/2 my lunch
x made a groc. list
Next:
- groc. store
- keep laundry going
- Farmers Market - I want a hanging basket for the barrel by our driveway, if that makes sense. The flowers won't be hanging, other than eventually growing down the sides of the barrel. I did this last year and it worked beautifully.
- party store for table cloths and disposable garbage cans for the party
- Costco to see what they offer, maybe buy some snacks for the party
Later:
- make reservations for moms group leaders dinner out next week
- I have a dental appt. at 4 pm
- dinner is chicken curry (my style - simple, w/ coconut milk and condiments of chopped cucumbers, raisins, and peanuts) over rice w/ bread and cantaloupe
- dh has a meeting tonight
- I might go to GFS for chafing dishes tonight
- would be good to make a master todo list for before dd18's party
- start looking into areas to stay and hotels for our July vacation

Re: Working Wednesday
Morning ya'll...
Coming off a really nasty migraine so not sure what kind of working Wed I'm gonna have... Maybe just working towards normal sounds good.
Woke up thinking it was Thur till I saw the title here at the village.
Twins.. I was thinking abt what your sister said to you abt being pinched. I know you reported it to the supervisors where your sister is but am wondering if perhaps you took a picture of the mark with your phone to document it for your person record. I would document all that your sister tells you in case things continue and you had to report the "abuse" to the authorities. Just my suspicious mind at work...
May need to go back to bed... This is going to be a slow moving morning for me. Cy'all later.

Re: Working Wednesday
I finally got through that round - I got sucked into working on some temple financial issues, which I need to continue to work on today anyway. I also took the recycling out - when I walked the ddogs I figured out it is today, not next week. Somehow I was thinking this wasn't the week for it.
-reboot laundry
-refill meds containers
-purge refrigerator
-take out kitchen trash
-continue work on temple y/e statements
Oooooh, Cowinkie, that is such a good idea. I really should have taken a photo.

Re: Working Wednesday
I'm up and slowly at it. Pentecost is also our anniversary service and I'm responsible for writing the sermon (but not the sermon) so got 70% of it written this morning and sent off to our new minister who will also be preaching. He can add his input and we'll finish it up at some point next week.
Need to copy a hymn for my senior friend.
It is lunch time which is a good thing because I'm hungry. Not sure what I'll eat today. I'm trying to work my way through the freezer. There's a piece of pizza left and some sausage rolls so I might have that with a salad.
