The number of Cannucks posting here just increased by 50%!

Had pizza for dinner and then drove over to visit my friend. Gave hugs, listened, hugged her daughter. Watched a little video of him. Petted one of the dogs.

They are still at her sis-in-law's because the police haven't released their house. They'll have to sleep there tonight. One of the dogs and possibly the baby's mother is going to her legal husband's home. The other daughter is with a friend and the remaining dogs will stay with my friend. The sister doesn't like animals in her pristine house so must be going crazy.

Then we put the recycle out at our house, in a container that will be recycled too. I opened more windows but there's nothing I can do about the smell in the house coming from the septic system. They haven't pumped the tank or started the work so the system smell is in the house. Sigh... Don't know why it is there now, we didn't get the smell when we lived there so it must have to do with the amount of water usage. I flush the toilets each time I go and run the hot water but there's nothing more I can do.

I posted some recipes. One is under salads called "Layered Vegetable Salad. The other is a slow cooker recipe called Beer Stew and on the same post, I included Beer Biscuits because the compliment the beer stew recipe.

Kathryn, It's wonderful there are much more Cannucks posting here now. :D :!: :o I think it's also neat because you're our neighbors up North. :)

Dgs is doing his laptop game with a buddy on the other end, they talk back and forth during the game and can hear each other. It's so neat how far technology has come. :!: DH is slipping between the Mariners-Twins game and boxing matches. He mowed today, is tired, too, because he got up early, ran to Costco and then his retiree's luncheon and shopped for a few things at Sears. (For himself and Dgs.) :) :)

I wrote a 5 x 5 list, 3 times, for tomorrow, to "see" if breaking up my routine into 5 and doing rounds of 5 before 5 p.m. helps me accomplish my daily goals. I seem to miss 1 - 2 things, by 5 p.m. when I do the 10 x 5.

I canceled some magazine subscriptions, am not renewing 2 magazines, so I'll be down to 1 on health, one for poets/writers. I also get complimentary copies, when I'm inside a magazine, so how many in the world magazines do I need? :?:  I seem to re-read the same things, from magazine to magazine, cut out a few comics, embarrassing moments, and good-news things, for pen pals, then purge the magazine into recycle. It's so time-consuming to do this, I'm tired of this routine, there are very few things to send to pen pals, very few things interest me anymore, because for 1 - 2 years, it's all come around again, only the dates of the issues or the seasons are different. The reason I was prompted to cancel is how 1 magazine, I got paper issues of, kept emailing me to go digital. I got tired of the emails, signed in with my account number, realized I'd been taking 5 - 6 magazines! I told them I wanted to keep the health one, but let the rest go and why. They're repetitive. :? Also, Flylady said something once, about decluttering and canceling subscriptions and using the money elsewhere. And, not only that- it's less time-consuming clutter to deal with.

MT, I'm sorry about Mr. MT having his CHF back. I'm glad his incision's healed well. I'm sorry about Mr. MT's diagnosis of Type II Diabetes. My DH does, too. I hope Mr. MT gets well, feels better soon, and I had a pen pal with CHF, but she rallied and it went away. It wasn't until she told me that, how I learned it could go away. I give you and Mr. MT my Best Wishes. I'm glad his b-day was today and he enjoyed all the b-day wishes, too. :D

Twins' Mom, I hope you enjoyed your dinner out this evening. :) :)

Waving to Sadie, LadyMaverick, RR, Sunny, Helia, Booksaver, Blessed, Dove, and Harriet and those I've overlooked. Have a wonderful good night's sleep and a Happy Conga Friday, if you do your Conga on Fridays. (I know some bless their homes on Mondays, the Flylady way.) I guess the days of Congas or blessings don't matter, as long as we're doing "something."

Got the wrong life vests at dsons
Then hunted ous up.
We got the tree branch down out of the tree so that is a worry off our minds. But still a mess to clean up in the back yard. I need to do laundry and get ready for camping. Got my hair washed in the shower glad that is taken care of.
Dishes are rinsed and loaded.
I am bushed turning now.
