Its a rainy day in AZ and we don't get many of them around here. We had storms last night and are looking for more before the evening ends. It looks like MT's area got a good dousing too.
Am in the middle of coloring my hair. Most of my footprints have been picked up and I'm planning to do a bit of my house blessings. However I'm not really in a rush to do that as I want to enjoy this rainy day feeling for a bit longer
Harriet, I like your link. In days gone by when I was in full swing teaching, I would do the same thing with my clothes. I put each day's clothes on a hanger and then filled my ziplock bags with whatever else I needed. I used clothes pins to attach the bags to my hangers. I usually had enough outfits to last two weeks. Sometimes I would see how many outfits I could arrange at once. Then I would hang everything in my closet and "pick" what I wanted to wear for the week. The type of weather usually played into my choices.
Boy when I was working out of my box I was always on a roll. I even took my "box" into my classroom. My desk was my "sinK'. I had every class color coded and a weekly plan to follow. It really helped me to stay focused and cut my off teaching time in the classroom in half. I had to shut my door to stay on task..teachers are notorious for walking into other teachers classroom just to chit chat. I had to explain to my department that I wasn't shutting my door to be rude, but that it helped me not to get distracted from what I needed to do.
Off to finish my hair...will cya'll later
