KIC, I have a book on signs, symbols and colors pertaining to religious Saints, holy days, etc... I bought it from our Episcopal book store when I was illuminating the Book of Memories at church. Yes, I used to be a calligrapher and artist. I've not done it in years though. Loved to use the proper colors for the deceased ones, to use as a sign of the person they were, etc... It was so worthwhile and rewarding to do that.
LadyM, I ADORE your frequent short posts! They're like I'm really right there beside you, every step of your day! It's awesome! My (((LO))) to LO, too. Have a good time, enjoy that balcony, and all my best to you and LO today, too. ♥
Dee,
Hi, Booksaver!
Hello, Emptynester!
Twins' Mom, Sometimes Mondays, especially, are hard to get up and get moving again, especially after a weekend!
Harriet, Thanks for the opener. Gee, I wonder where you got it?
DH went to his drug study appt., needs to increase insulin again, although they say it's being increase very little each time. My annual exam is a lot later in the week, I'm all ready, but need to trim toenails. All the paperwork's done, but need to update the day planner, with appt.'s, in case I'll be making any appt.'s that day, so DH's appt.'s and mine don't conflict.
It's sunny here, they said it might be 86* today, and the birds are wonderful this a.m. I'm working on October b-day and wedding anniversary cards, then will put a post-it note on each card done, to tell me what date to ship them out on.
Waving to Lucylee, Nancy, and those coming after me. Have a Super Morning, Everybody!
