Sunday... Satchels and Baggage

Hi everyone! I just weighed my purse and it is 2.6 pounds (filled). I carry wallet, checkbook, pills, computer glasses, phone, murine, dental floss, chapstick, library cards and loyalty cards, and keys. In my interview purse, I carry only wallet, keys, and pens, NEVER phone.

Yesterday, I had two applications for cat adoptions!!! And both of them were for hard to adopt cats. One (my foster) is 14 and the other wants to be an only pet. Today, I made Sunday School and church, even though DD was not with me (more motivated with her). After that, I went to a fundraising lunch for a local school which the church was advertising for. I took a book, but found other church members that were willing to have a stray at their table. I did lots of fabric painting for the Anna dress when I got home, plus crisis cleaning of DR. There is still a bit to do there (mop, clear one counter, and dust a bookcase), so the paper went back into the jar. It is vastly improved though. Then, I made Bible study, did some DPCs, and caught up on emails.

Next up: pay bills, organized some computer stuff, snack, cat care, bed. I would like to finish painting the dress strips, but will probably run out of time. My goal is to have DD12's costume complete by the end of September and start mine in October. Mine will be much simpler.

Harriet: Wrapping will never become extinct as long as I am on the planet. I HATE gift bags. The only time I use them is to corral small items, and I WRAP the small items before putting them in the bag!

ETA: bills paid (yuck!), emails sent, still need to do the organizing, snack, and cat care.
