Kathryn, I find it amusing what you eat/drink to settle your stomach. If my tummy was iffy I could never do any kind of soda or tea; I would not be able to eat anything that had spices or any grease like bacon. However, I have always been able to drink milk and eat dairy even if my tummy was upset. We are all different, I guess.
Off to a good start, up early because I had in my mind all the errands I had to run today. The car was gone, though, and I had to wait for DH to get back. He's on his way now. He had to meet a condo owner and take a boat out to an island where she wants work done. And he couldn't leave his pickup in the parking lot because of all his tools in the back. This having trucks out in cow country is awkward sometimes.
I have one good thing happened this morning, I made one last stab at finding a tiny window part I was supposed to send to a customer. DH had handed it to me last week and I put it somewhere in the house.... and I've been looking for days... it's a 2" square of foam/fuzzy stuff and dark gray. I even dumped a big garbage can looking in there. Found it on my desk, the most logical place, after looking there over and over...with its color I guess I just missed it!
I have a meal to take my friend, a stop at church with materials and $ from small group, must go to post office. Not too much, but I am ready to go, still waiting for DH and the car.
Wow Harriet! Congratulations!

Oh Wow Harriet
How wonderful for all of you. I am sure you are all so excited. Congratulations to your whole family.
Happy Birthday to Feline Friends DH.
We are still in awe of our SF Giants last night. Madison Bumgarner (out of North Carolina, BTW) is the best pitcher in the whole MLB. He is so awesome. Giants fans are so lucky. He is a big and I mean big old farmboy and we love him. He is unassuming, nice guy, and simply the best.
We have turned cold here - especially at night - and I am kind of enjoying it for now. (I still want warm winter in AZ though)
I can't do without that.
Off for breakfast and grocery shopping. Have a great day.

Re: Monday PWYC
I feel like I'm on my own for the first time since friday night - not exactly on my own but unscheduled and unaccompanied. On Sat a.m. I got up, started a loaf of challah for the neighborhood party then started the soup. Got dMacs to PT at 11, then on to neighborhood chili party. Home for 30 min then our guests arrived, and except for a nap yesterday I've been with them. We love them dearly and I can take them better than almost anyone I can imagine but I'm a little peopled out. Dh and the guest dh have gone to run errands and to office, and guest dw is napping - has fibro and is quite tired from stopover in Birmingham before them came here.
I've done a little of a.m. routine but need to at least get through that for my peace of mind!
-sort and start a lol
-s2s
-kitchen counters and bkfast bar
-make the bed
-fold two lol - sheets that were washed on Friday

Re: Monday PWYC
It is still 'Good Morning to you all' here, just barely. I just finished my breakfast (more like brunch-time) and am enjoying my second cup of coffee (with pumpkin pie spice flavoring). Dh talked with ds#2 last night; he had called to see how we were doing and asked if we could make a school run this morning with dgd12. So we were up early and out by 8:15; didn't eat or feed ddogs 'till we got home.
The weekend was quiet for us, no company Saturday or Sunday. Ds#1 was at scout camp with his two dsons and ds#2's dfam couldn't come either as ddil still has some assignments due by Fri. I guess it's crunch time for her! And dgd19 was called into work at the last minute for an overnight shift - then she had to go right to school this morning.
Congratulations, Harriet, and dfamily on the news of dbabyGranddaughter!
Dsil is sure to have a nice time at Casey Key, Dee. The beaches are pretty there. It is a little closer to Harmony.
Happy Birthday Mr. FelineFriend!
The rest of the day will be easy for me. There will be some desk time, maybe one lol, a little bit of declutter time in a couple of rooms (I try to do some in each room throughout the week). I will do KP duty after lunch.
Kathryn, hope your stomach settles.

Thank you for DH's b-day wishes. He'll like that. He's awaiting his drug study nurse to phone, so he can "check-in" with readings, to "see" if he needs to increase the insulin/drug study med or not. He'll go out for Mexican food with his buddy he gets firewood with, too.
Harriet , Congratulations on the girl. We have 7 DGS's & finally got 1 last girl.
I've s2s, dressed pretty for DH's big day, need to do a few chores around here, work on hand-writing a story, want to do snail mail, too, and enjoy the day.
Waving Good Morning, to Everybody!
This is a quick C. I.

Re: Monday PWYC
Got the garbage cans back up from the road. Helped DH get out once he got back here.
I went out and did 3 of my 4 errands. I am waiting for my friend Sandi to call so I can go take our food down. I'm a little worried she is out all this time, though I know she has a lot of dr. appointments. I'm hoping nothing else is amiss.
Well, getting up extra early is great, but that always leaves me tired in the afternoon. I don't actually get more done. Might try a walk, maybe that will help. If it doesn't I will set my timer and take a nap.

Hi everyone!
Happy birthday to Mr. FF.
Congrats on the news of a girl!!
I made all of the dreaded phone calls. Even added one more to check why a certain shopping channel was still getting 2 payments a month on one of my credit cards... I hope Mike is enjoying the D yson vacuum and the C anon digital camera... grrr... good news is that they are both paid for now. I have changed all my credit information again and addresses are all changed and the companies that needed my new phone number now have the new number.
We are all delightfully different. One night Wayne came home and after asking what I had eaten that day, we checked my blood sugar. It was less than 6. After a totally junk food filled day. Wayne now knows that I can have one junky day per week and he won't worry. At least he tries very hard to NOT worry.
I purged a LOT of stuff between yesterday and today. I love having 2 marvelous charities in the area that are not the big corporate ones. They are getting car loads of stuff from me.

Was just going to cuop till I read "It's a girl". Know how much your whole family will welcome a girl -not they wouldn't a boy. She'll certainly be spoiled., being the first girl since dd16 -right?
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
