(Norma). Lost post. Happens to all of us.

What a day I'm having. DH informs me first thing this morning that he now has the flu again. He's been in bed all day except for getting up to put on the space heater. He isn't drinking or eating. I did manage to get some water into him.

I'm digging out the house. I've red up a whole lot of junk around here. Blueprints all spread out everywhere, files, and lots of household stuff. Managed to get most of the house vacuumed and mopped. Not a good job, but it's done best I could.

I went out to jobsite with customer so I could bring our last truck home. We dug out a post while I was there so I could bring it back with me. I gotta say, the 1 ton dump truck drives easier than any of the other trucks!

Neighbor came by for a chat, just what I didn't need right now. I'm happy she's friendly, but I don't have as much time obviously as she does.

I've done 3 LOL and hung most everything up. I have one more room to put together for tonight so that is next. I need to go get a big load of groceries too. DD and DSiL are bringing dgrandsons here and everyone staying the night...so I must get some beds made up. Well, just one needs done. So, I must run... I came in here while I was eating my dinner.

Vegetables covered up with sheets again. It's supposed to get colder again tonight.

Harriet, I did see that pretty little Beagle win. So nice seeing that!

My purse is ok, but it's a couple inches bigger than I need and a little heavy. I will get used to it. And probably use it for years until it wears out. I don't have time in my life for changing purses like most people do.

:D Hello, Ladies!

Just a quick C. I. to say my thyroid levels were back to normal, after several months, and 3 - 4 tests. I'm very happy about it, too! Whew!

Have a great evening, Everyone! :D

On the treadmill trying to knock off another mile before 8 p.m. and tv shows start.

Dh is watching a movie so I'll set up a card table in the bedroom and continue to work, at least during commercials.

I've accomplished a lot today - up to 7 out of 11 of the reconciliations and ds's taxes are almost done (just waiting for his change of address to take place, then we can netfile them.)

I just realized I can't netfile us until our change of address is done. Will add that to my to-do list. Our taxes won't be finished until we return but I'm starting them before we go so things won't be overwhelming when we get back.

Tomorrow with the boys we are babysitting is all planned - we pick them up at their home after school, let the dog out for a quick break and then head into the city for an early dinner and watching Big Hero. That takes us until 7 p.m. and their dad should be home around 8 so we'll have ice cream and then head back out to the village to drop them off or sit with them until he comes home. CM is leaving around noon for a girls weekend away and CF is in Toronto until 3 p.m. so that's why we are filling the gap from 3:30 (after school) until he gets home.

I'm sure glad our taxes are all done.

A lot of progress here. Dishes done. One room sorta deep cleaned and bed made. Bathroom scrubbed. Other bedroom straightened and dusted.

DD just texted, said she was fine until 5:00 then got sick, sore throat, stiff neck, headache. Poor girl. With 2 big trips and a wedding to attend then another 2 trips. So she's going to try to get all better tonight and they are coming early in the AM.

Means I don't have to run for groceries tonight. I will get up early tomorrow and get them. Somehow, I must get up. Must. Oh boy. I am so stiff from all this work I can hardly stand straight. Going to go take something for that. I gave DH a tylenol for his fever and his aches. He said everything was aching and he's got the space heater cranked up so it's really warm in his room.

Harmony, I sure hope your dd feels better tomorrow. There is nothing worse than being sick while traveling. I sure hope your dh will not go back to work until he recovers from this bout of flu. Take care of yourself, you sure don't need a relapse, since you are less than 100%.

Lady Maverick how is LO doing with his little sister there so much? You are doing an outstanding job of coping with the needs of LO and dgd3, plus your move, etc. Whether you realize it or not, you are amazing.

lucylee, I think that is so nice that you letting loved ones buy special things from your dmils home at such low prices. I am sure they appreciate the opportunity.

We are suppose to have 4-6 inches of snow Saturday night through Sunday.

Today dh and I painted the basement bedroom. It looks great. We used semi-gloss paint and it had been painted with flat paint. It sure makes a difference. Plus it is so nice not to see the paneling peeking through.

I have to pick up dd1 at the repair shop in the morning at 7:30. Dgd18s car needs some work. Dgd18 has to be at work at 9 and it wouldn't hurt her to help her mom, but that would be asking too much apparently.

Guess I better start getting ready for bed............
