Re: MONDAY
I am working on the table making a bit a progess here and there and I am seeing some progress. I am hoping to get to the rest of it today.
Got dgd off to the bus on time.
It was cold and all the waters outside were frozen this morning.
Dgs spare coat did not have a working zipper sigh her other one was left at school. Glad I had a new pr. Of gloves that fit her here.
who know where the mittens I made her are.
I have a few hrs. Off with out kids around so I am taking a bit of a breather this morning.

-walk dogs

-empty the dishwasher (I didn't run it until this morning)

Re: MONDAY, MONDAY
I sent off a little non-fiction piece about Dad, for a Father's Day issue. I need to record the date, title, and who I submitted it to now.
It's sunny, it froze last night, and it's so beautiful!
Just a quick C. I. for now. Got a crazy-busy day and need to clean up my desk again, too.
Have an amazing Monday, Monday, Everybody!

Harmony: If you don't wear sundresses you don't need them on a cruise. I happen to prefer them (much cooler than a skirt and t-shirt and I hate to wear shorts because my legs are so ugly (even when covered with material - there's too much of them plus they are horrid to look at.)
As for formal wear, this cruise line is much less formal than Silversea and every formal night is optional but I'll still dress up because dh likes to. I'd love to be able to fit my gowns but that's a dream until I lose at least 25 and for most 40 pounds. I'm 50 pounds heavier than my first luxury cruise and a lot of clothing I bought back then got worn once on that first cruise. I've kept my absolute favourites though, because we do have occasion to use it when cruising. That said, I got rid of 4 gowns during the move.
Putting together outfits is easy with the spreadsheet dh gave me and it helps identify base pieces that aren't doing their fair share of the work to create a wardrobe for me. There is one top, plus my sari that is one-time use only. Two pieces can be worn two ways and after that, most things can be used 5+ ways. There's one skirt that is identified as a leave-behind because it only makes 3 outfits and I have enough of that class of outfit already. (I classify the outfits as formal, semi-formal, country club evening wear and daytime since that's the catergories for Silversea. Most regular cruise lines just expect you to dress nicely but don't care about the super formal stuff. On the cruise forums, most men refuse to wear jackets and ties these days, let alone tuxes and airlines charge so much for luggage that it is not affordable to travel with all the bells and whistles, especially for shorter cruises.
Around home my normal classifications are daytime comfort, church, preaching. If I'm going out to the theatre, I'll put together an outfit using something church level with something cruise semi formal.
I put away the laundry, dusted and vacuumed most of the apartment and tidied a little. Watered the plants, polished dh's shoes, cleaned the boot rack and sprayed my faux down jacket with water repellent in an attempt to keep the stuffing inside the jacket. I wear the jacket as a middle layer (between my coat and my sweater) and the rubbing causes the fluff to come out. I'll be taking the jacket on the cruise with me (because it stores in a little pouch) and I'm hoping the water proofing will also repel water. We'll see. It might just dissolve the material for all I know.
The travel med clinic has not called back so I think I may try it again and if I can't talk to a real person, I'll move on to another clinic. We need the typhoid shots by Friday for them to be worth having.

I got the table and kitchen counters cleared off yea! Have had lunch. Hens are not as productive today with the cold weather might be their rest day. It is a bit warmer up to 41* here now.

Kathryn - sent a pm on aussie store with big sizes being regularly available.
Loved the glass of water illustration. Put it down Lynlee.
Helper yesterday - some things in car to go out. More space on my kitchen counter.

Re: MONDAY, MONDAY
Hi everyone! Fast check in while a query runs. It was snowing this am, not fun. I am on the hook this week for problem tickets at payroll. That means I keep track of them, not necessarily that I solve them all. However, I do have 6 of my own and only one down. Am working on another. At home, I need to consolidate my lists and attack them!

Re: MONDAY, MONDAY
We're back home and just finished dinner. I'm SO glad that I made chili the other night and all I had to do tonight was to warm up the leftovers. Tasted so yummy. Tummy was growling by the time we returned. Took us just under 2 hours to go to dfriend's in Bradenton. We went the 'back way' and it was so easy and I LOVED IT!!! Now that I know how to go, perhaps I'll get down to see her again this winter before I head north. She'll actually be not too far from me up there come mid-May or so. Did tell dd tonight that we can head north whenever it's convenient for her as long as I'm home by the weekend before May 19th. Have an appointment with the eye surgeon that day and anticipate cataract surgery by June some time.
Did make for a long day but I'm ready to relax and enjoy the evening. Just made coffee for tomorrow. Might have a cup of cappuccino now -I'll see. I get up a few times during the night anyway.

Dee we enjoyed chili the othe day it was great weather for it.
Dgd showed up here on the other granny's day again all excited for after school toddlerN time & snacks even though I reminded her before school to go home for pick up by the other gpa at her house w her bros. Oh well we can talk about info. Spare shoes Ect.
glad she remembered the winter coat with the working zipper. Anyway they are in transit now.
Warmed up to 46* out side here now but it does not seem that warm outside. Stuffed toys are taking a nap on the couch all tucked in.

Re: MONDAY, MONDAY
I am home with a 20 minute break before needing to leave again.
Took LO to see his pediatrician, who is also a life long friend (DH attended school with him for 10+ years). We value his opinion and even though two other professionals have said LO needed ADHD meds, I wanted to hear the opinion of this doctor/friend. Pediatrician totally agreed and we left his office with a prescription to start tomorrow. LO will try the meds for 2 weeks then return to pediatrician to re-evaluate. We have been told the meds might make LO anxiety soar, but there is no way to tell how he will respond to meds without trying. So tomorrow it begins....
DH took LO to karate lessons so I can go sign LO up to play TBall. Spring ball is coming up fast!!
