Great, one person resolved!

And the sermon is almost finished. I just need the closing sentences.

Dh just reports that one problem may be resolved. He can now get through to the village. He couldn't this morning. More importantly, he couldn't get through to our corporate website and because it was 'down' (although I could get through and he could on his tablet - weird), he wasn't getting email either since it goes through the domain.

Turns out our old webhosting company moved all our domains over to GoDaddy, not just the SHE ones. Since we only moved the SHE files over, none of other websites were working. He's up and running now.

Helia had the same issue as dh so hopefully this will solve her problem as well.

I have recently moved our church website away from GoDaddy to a different web hosting. Lots of steps involved!

Kids are enjoying sunshine and warmer temps. They have been playing outside for the past hour. I have swept/mopped more than once in the last 24 hours and the floors need it again. The melted snow/ice left everything wet and anything with mud on it seems to attract little ones like bait.

Cup of coffee is empty. My break is over.

Doll nightgown directions read, and a few more steps completed.

The doll nightgown instructions are insane. They call for stretching and sewing a 4 inch length of elastic to the sleeve just above the hem to create a ruffle. All well and good, until you try stretching that elastic out and see that 4 inches simply will not stretch out to the size of the sleeve, nevermind the extra inch supposed to be leftover to hold on to. I do not fight reality. I sewed on a bias tape casing so I could use the right elastic length and get a sleeve that would fit at the wrist. I am disrespecting the person who wrote these pattern instructions rather a lot.

I'm getting ready to go to my DAunt's 80th birthday party.
I had my hair "trimmed" yesterday. The girl first trimmed with the razor, then cut with scissors, then evened and texturized, then trimmed some more ... I don't think I've ever had my hair this short in my life!

I have taken in the same 2 photos every time I've had my hair cut since July, but they've had a different stylist working every time I've gone in so it turns out very different. Right now I'm telling myself I will like it better after I wash and style it ...

Just a reminder that the delete board cookies is a link at the bottom of the board index page. If the boards won't let you get beyond the login page, try deleting the cookies and then try signing in again.

If you are already signed in and click on the delete cookies link, you'll get logged off. I found that out the hard way!

I have just finished the worst of the small nightgown, gathering and inserting the sleeves. Only the side and back seams left, and the neckline finishing. Bias tape on the neckline instead of trying to turn and stitch a circle that small!

It's a productive day for me so far.

I remember sewing an outfit for dd's doll and being overwhelmed with how difficult it was. Then I sewed the same thing to fit her (so they'd have matching outfits) and was surprised at how much easier it was because I had room to move!
