Elizabeth, I hope the sink project goes well.

Sunny, I know this has been a trying week for your family. How is the niece who was sick?

Sadie, I'm so impressed that you help so many in family. Hope all the tax stuff is not much of a hassle.

Let the hens out to run. They had a broken egg in their nest so I've cleaned that up and will let it dry until morning. Nancy, sorry you had some of the less pleasant chicken chores this week.

Got HRH to get the trash cans ready in prep for early morning trash guys.

Vacuumed the hallway.

Thinking of how little I get done reminds me we haven't seen LadyM and her usual flurry of activity lately. :)

Thinking of Lilac and dh. Wondering if they would be on the way home by now.

Lucylee, your email is fine imo.

I agree with RRose about using a Broker. I called mine an agent, but he can sign us up with multiple companies. He also looks at the drug programs every year, what drugs one takes and makes the best match. In my case this time I switched companies and he gave me the choice of two that were similar. He does his all email notifications, and will send us packets of stuff with red arrow stickers: sign here, sign here, return this (with self-addressed envelopes). In my case the most expensive drug plan was not the best choice this year.

Twins, I guess Moses can still make it up and down the steps? What are you giving him for pain?

Also missing LadyM. Could she still be on her trip with DD and DGKids?

About the SS people, we went in there expecting totally a different outcome, having been told what we wanted to do was not possible. When lady asked what we were planning to do, she said there was no reason to do thus-and-such and I said (totally off-hand, having been told this wouldn't work) couldn't we do this? She immediately looked it all up, printed off the law, put the papers in our folder, and assured us it could be done and would work just as we'd thought. I don't know if she would have counseled us in that direction or not, because she hadn't mentioned it until I asked. That's why you really need to know the laws yourself before going to an office, or applying online. We almost missed out on an additional $6000+ a year! I know by himself DH never would have figured this out.

really sick so no tour for me here. I will miss the lemurs in Madagascar. sigh. dh got sick first but will likely be able to manage the afternoon tour we booked. there is a waiting list so I hope to get my money back.

am waiting for the room service line to not be busy so I can order ginger ale. I usually have it in our fridge but because of lent I had it removed to avoid temptation.
