Poor dd and young man! Perhaps this will be the pain that will teach them that proper protection is required. One can still make mistakes (my top shifted once under my purse strap, exposing un-slathered skin) but the pain of a bad burn or two. plus my dad, uncle and grandmother having non-cancerous spots removed regularly, convinced me to protect myself a lot more than most people do.

Sermon is finished. Perhaps I'm delirious with exhaustion but it feels like a good one. My visitation at the hospital earlier this week was an education and that private moment's effect on me worked on my words tonight. This is a really 'Jesus' filled sermon (most of the time I lean more heavily towards God) so I might file it away as a potential sermon to use if I'm ever invited to preach at MF's staunchly conservative churches. They might overlook the fact that I'm a woman when they hear what I wrote. Surprised myself!

Off to bed now. I'm exhausted and we have a long day tomorrow - 4 services in total. I might skip the first one and just hang in the office working on the summary of my trip. I'm only half way done.

Peeked in earlier but forgot to post, so I just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Dee.... I hope you are able to work out something for your church.
Harriet.... I'm sure the dedication for your 3rd grfather was impressive. So good that a picture of descendants was taken. Sorry to hear dd & bf were sunburned. Doesn't feel good the next day either!
RRose....sorry you've had another migraine; hope you are feeling better!

No company here today. Dgsons10 & 12 had their Pinewood Derby this afternoon. Dgs12 has his crossover this evening - he is through Cubs and he is now a Boy Scout. Ds-J called this afternoon to see how we were and said they will be coming tomorrow.

I puttered this morning finishing up some odds 'n ends. This afternoon I did some knitting and took a nap. I will take pictures of whatever I make.

I am another one who takes B-12, as well as dh also. I did notice more energy and alertness after I started taking them.

Lilac....it was nice to see you posting. ((Hugs)).

Dee....Your blankets sound pretty. It would be nice to see pictures of them!

Must let ddogs out one last time and and get them settled for the evening.

Dh and I both take B-12. I think I need to up our dosage. I could sure use some energy.

It was just before 9 when dd2 called and they were ready to do the birthday party. It was a Minnie Mouse themed party with all the cute plates, cups, napkins, mouse ears and crown combo, tablecloth, etc. I put the Minnie Mouse ears on and dd2 took a picture. Aside from the Minnie Mouse ears, it was a good picture. Dh told dd2 to send him the picture so he can start me a FB page using the picture.

Lilac, I love the idea of the Minnie Mouse themed party. And I'll bet you looked great in the Minnie ears!
