Got the last load of rocks hauled help was here for back up in case he was needed for larger ones fewer this load so it did not take as long did that while frozen lagnsae cooked we like the marie c. Brand better than than Stoffers.

Started on the path too.

A good working septic system should be able to handle a good amount of water, unless it is a flooding situation. Things one should NOT put down a drain: too much paper products; baby wipes even if they say flushable, feminine products, wet wipes even if they say flushable, kleenix. An inspector will look into a tank and examine the pipe which goes into the field and the pipe should be clear and not full of stuff. It all depends on the soil in the field. Here, we take out any clay soil and replace with certified sand which percolates nicely. I've had septics at 5 houses in Florida and all were fine. We did pump and inspect the tank at our other house before we rented it and the edge on the lid was crumbling and DH fixed it with hydraulic cement. I think lids can fail just from the chemical reaction.

Had the usual move-the-trucks around tonight. We are working in a gated place where the people get annoyed to see a working man's truck around.

We had lots of wind and clouds but only 5 minutes of rain. There is supposed to be more tomorrow and Wednesday. I saw there was a tornado close to the area where DSson and family lives...hoping they are ok.

Beautiful day here in the low 70's. Unusual for this early in the year. Should be cooling off tomorrow though.

Dinner is done. It was very late (we sat down almost at 8 p.m.!) All the dishes are cleaned up.

The hot water here isn't right now. It is about 100*F, which in many ways is preferable to the super scalding it usually is, but it makes getting grease off the pots harder. We cooked up two dinners tonight and will have leftovers for a while now.

I finally finished the summary of our trip and printed it off. It is 24 pages! But I cut a lot, probably 10 pages of text and 30 photos. It was over 75 pages when I started condensing it. I've put it in a report cover and will take it to my senior friend tomorrow. I still have to print off another copy for my uncle.

I'm about ready for bed now so will start working towards that.

So right, Sunny! We've had a few rounds of really stormy weather -wind, thunder, lightening and pouring down rain. I've had my computer unplugged for several hours. Hopefully now it's gone temporarily.

Dh called tonight -his orthopedist office had called me earlier today to talk to dh. Told him he was up north and she said he'd given them an alternative number =====59 -aha! someone wrote that last number down wrong or read it wrong -it's a 4. So they called him. When he called after fire meeting tonight he said they've changed the date for his surgery out a week. He was scheduled for outpatient surgery, but because of his stents and heart valve replacement he has to have it done as a hospital patient. Not too surprising. I don't know if that means they'll now keep him overnight or what. His boss (dcampowner) is not happy. The date of the surgery is now the day before opening day at camp. But in my book that might be better? Seems like he'd have a whole week after surgery that he can't do much and now he can 'work' right up to the day before surgery. He'll get over it (or he won't). If dh didn't take that date it would be moved up to May 15th.

* WHEW * What a day...

Good for Mr. Dee to get the knee taken care of ASAP. Agreeing that Mr. Camp Owner must learn to rely on someone else a little bit.

Many things to check off the list:
[x] call dmom, tell her we're coming out to get her truck
-- lots of discussion w/dmom re: cousin who wants to claim certain woman is great-grandfather's mother; dmom is just CERTAIN said woman is his step-mother... ds thinks cousin is right but cannot find the papers dmom thinks he has proving that dmom is right... LOL... shaking my head...
[x] load two pick-up trucks jammed full to the brim -- stuff for * last time * for auction
[x] call allergy doctor for refill shots
[ ] call doctor for copy of wellness check up for insurance
[x] Wmart
[x] keep dgs while ds/ddil go to auction
[x] supper, s/s kitchen
[x] typed church notes -- b/c preacher sent an e-mail requesting them... almost 3 PAGES worth -- since it was our first meeting of the year, I guess. I despise reading these minutes aloud at the meetings. It's more like a history lesson by that point -- usually 2-3 months after the fact -- and I figure everyone is so bored by it all.

I agree with Kathryn, RunKitty and lucylee. Just because Mr. Dee has an excellent work ethic, doesn't mean the camp owner should take him for granted and then get upset when he needs to take care of health issues.

Called dr to make appointment for nerve block and they had me come in around noon.

Didn't hurt too much at least compared to my other ones. If you run your finger down the back of your skull to where it meets your neck you come to a valley. Just the tip of your thumb width to the right is the area where the shoots were. Think I got abt 10.

Every time she moved the needle to give me a shot in the next place I could hear this crunching noise. She could too. Said it was the sound of the needle breaking up the fibers of the muscles.

Came home and rested the rest of the day. The area where she gave me the shoots is very sore so I have some ice on it. Little price to pay if it breaks my headache cycle.

We shall see... Keep your fingers crossed. Nitters everyone ...
