I've been working my little behine off since I first got up. After morning routines and picking up my footprints I ran errands with Sweetie. Came home and started working on my office. I want to get into my closet and donate all my school stuff to the people who picked up my furniture. Glad to give it to the group home because I know my supplies will come in handy for them.
After I finish what I am doing here at my desk I'm gonna head out into the garage and finish that up. I'm down to "where should I keep this" part which usually stalls me a bit.
My migraines always put me behind my routines because after I have one I spend the next several days sometimes in a semi-altered state. I have to put myself on "remote" and just DO. My mind started clearing up late yesterday afternoon and I forced myself to go to my fitness class. Glad I did because as I eased myself into it the haze began to clear away.
Ok I'm gonna get distracted so its back to work. Y'all know how THAT goes

Too distracted with my own issues to cuop at this point.
I'm finally home after being out a lot of the day.
Started off vacuuming and damp mopping the kitchen so that is done. Still have the office to vacuum, bathrooms to clean and dusting done throughout the house, but the housework is progressing.
Then I s2s and headed to physio. That went well. I really like this clinic compared to my old one. Much more hands-on work. And I'm seeing rapid progress. I've made one appointment for next week since I'm traveling at the end of the week and then another for the Monday so if I wreck my knee over the weekend it can be dealt with using extra appointments throughout that week.
From there to IKEA where I did the returns, bought more frames and had lunch.
Then to the doctor for my annual physical and results of the knee x-rays. Like this doctor a lot. Will be going for a stress test but an artificial one because a regular treadmill one will wreck my knees more. Will also get my mammogram and blood work. The x-ray report is bad. The question to be decided is how long to wait before sending me for knee replacement. I'm young enough that if I go now, I'll need another at some point. Plus, if something goes wrong, I'll be out of commission for many years. On the other hand, if the physio and/or pain meds and shots don't manage the pain, then I'll the surgery sooner rather than later.
At least it isn't my imagination, my knees really do hurt badly.
I have a copy of the report for my physio therapist and I'll email it to her so she can think on it before my next appointment.
From there I did returns at BB&B, then to Costco for shopping. Another return at a grocery store, picked up stuff at the bulk food store and also stopped in at 3 thrift stores looking for a backpack purse. No luck, will have to buy new. When I have pockets, I find I leave my purse in the car and just put a credit card and sometimes my phone in my pocket. That way I don't have the extra weight and my hands are free to hang onto the cart or dh to lessen the strain on my knees. The problem is that when I bike or walk, I do have to take a purse with me (it contains pain/allergy meds, spare hair brush and clip to tame my hair in the wind, grocery bags, notepad and all the other things I like to have with me when I go out.)
Managed to get everything upstairs from the car in one load (I had remembered to bring the cart down with me this morning.) Now I'm resting my knees. Need to add up all I ate today (not much) and see if I have the calories for pizza tonight.
I don't really have the points for pizza but I don't have any idea what else to have for dinner and dh is excited so we'll have it. I'll be over by over 200 calories by the end of the day but so be it.
I've cuop.
I have 16 emails to deal with. Most are to do with the vacation.
Still working on the research for the big boss, due close of business today. And, yes, I do need to leave at 4:25 to catch the train. And I can't easily stay late, it's one of my nights with DD13.
I did work on the hotel reservations over lunch. Two of the three are done. I was not able to simply move my original Denver reservations to the new time - rooms were not available. The new hotel has a fridge, but not a microwave. It will help save money if I can put leftovers in the fridge and heat them up. Maybe I should buy a toaster oven and take it? Maybe I can use the coffee maker as a hot plate? The iron? Yeesh.
I have an emailed inquiry into the 3rd hotel to see if they have rooms available. No online reservations (it's an inn and RV park), but significantly cheaper than anything else. And more like a cabin than a hotel.
Joining ramblinrose with a migraine. However, my meds have knocked it out. I really cannot afford to have one during a fast-turnaround project.
Either the stress or my lunch did not agree with me. My abdomen is so distended I look six months pregnant. Unattractive and annoying.
Yarn mtg went well.
Dgd was only nere 15 min. Sil gpa passed so all weekend is tied up with family stuff for them but good timing IMO.
I weeded another 2 flower beds yea for progress.
Dinner was excellent!
H got the portable concrete plant moved today to the co. yd so thet can get it going again it has not been used in a few yrs.

((Kathryn)) I have stomped my foot and pouted for you when I read this, and I am so sorry. What I had hoped (and thought) was that you would be getting some good answers, yes, and of course I knew you were right about your own pain. But I thought the answers were going to be how to rehabilitate better and maybe some surprises about that. Not anyone talking about knee replacement.
Ramblin'Rose that's wonderful that the workout helped you get back to your regular "self". Wish it could happen the morning after the headache ends and you wouldn't have to go through any fuzziness.
I had to nap. Not surprising. But awakened and dove right into visiting my colorist. So that is done. Although I feel "behind", I do feel that a lot has been accomplished today.
Dd's absence from history was excused by teacher as soon as he saw photographs of her at the historic celebration.
2.5 dozen chewy chocolate chip cookies, 2 dozen bite-size fudgy brownies and a pan of rice krispy squares are done. All the dishes except for the squares are also done (well the cookie sheets need to be swished but I use parchment paper so they aren't dirty.)
That should be more than enough for our contribution to tomorrow and I might hold something back for Sunday although making another pan of RKSs is simple. I also have to make up a veggie tray and some juice. Have salsa and tortilla chips plus gluten-free crackers on hand. Might add hummus too, depending on how much I want to eat that stuff as my lunch, vs making a lunch for myself.
Now to do a round of physio. Knee is quite sore now but I've been standing in the kitchen for the last 100 minutes.
Hello, villagers ~
Work at the library today/tonight was extra busy, which is good because it made the time go quickly. All of the patrons came in a good mood, looking forward to the long weekend.
Last night DH's DSis asked if I could go up to DMil's apartment tomorrow (Friday) as well as Saturday to pack & move breakables and other small things. Tonight there is an email saying not to come tomorrow because the contractor is not finished, so we can't move anything back into the house yet.
That means I can concentrate on my own home tomorrow.
