I plan on getting outside later. Right now I am getting ready for the cleaning lady. I need to load the dishwasher and empty the dryer. It just chimed, so I'm going to unload the dryer.

Good morning!

Dh was home just after 2 a.m. this morning. I was awake at 7 and he was still in bed this a.m. - he has Rotary at 7:30 and he's president. So he got up and and headed out. I know he has a busy day today. He said he has a lot of meetings today - this was in response to dd's melt down about the phone yesterday. Her friend who was picking her up last night posted on Facebook overnight that they stopped at Buc ee's between ATL and her to I assume she's here.

I slept okay - was asleep when dh came in and only spoke to him. Same for this a.m., he was out the door quickly. I'll figure I won't see him much today and he'll be exhausted tonight.

I need to peel my bottom up and get busy this a.m. on household things.

Going to be a busy day here. DS-A & DGS9 drove to the Tampa Bay Lightning Game from Orlando (Disney) with friends of theirs last night. DD came from Jacksonville (with her SKILLS students) & picked me up and off we went to the game. It was a really thrilling game, but I couldn't get to sleep afterwards until after 3:30am. That puck kept changing hands and I tossed & turned and was up and down right along with it.

DD fell yesterday afternoon at the competition hitting her right side chest. She couldn't breathe at first and that scared her. She managed to drive home and then to Tampa and back but she's quite sure she broke at least one rib. A piece of equipment was placed over some cords and blended in. It hadn't been there 15 minutes before and she never saw it. When she went to see who she was to see (medically) he had just fallen on the same thing. She's going to Polk Co. School Board medical office this morning. Think we're all going to breakfast first. (Dsonil is out having lab work done so when he gets back and DS/DGS get their showers).

After breakfast dd is supposed to return the F ord E xpedition to the school board in Bartow but she's planning to call and see if they can possibly come get it so she can follow Dr's orders. Know she was having a very difficult time getting in her car last night and the Expedition is even worse.

DS flies back out from Orlando to Rochester tonight I think at 9pm. DD was glad to hear that as we originally thought he was flying out at 7 which meant rush hour traffic on I-4 to get to the airport. As it was know DS/and friends were in the I-4 parking lot coming to Tampa. Still made it in time for the game.

DS, DGS and I are going over to see Dbil after breakfast. Then hopefully we can come relax. DGS9 had an abcessed tooth this week while at Disney. Evidently a perm was coming in and the baby tooth hadn't come out and he had quite a time. Ended up costing them $665 -ouch. DDIL flew back home on Tuesday as she had to go back to work. Think DGS was on Easter break. DDIL is now very sick and I'm hoping it's not Covid for her again. I do know that it's running a pretty rampant course in NY State right now. Dh had to be tested Tuesday as he was exposed by their ass't manager. (negative).

Just found out from DS last night that Dh can get all the Covid tests at the fire department that he wants/needs.

Had a dumb scare/time with my computer when I was trying to get ready to leave here with DD last night. I clicked on a recipe and my computer froze with all sorts of info from "Microsoft". Wouldn't let me get out of it without calling 'them'. I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes while they surveyed my computer. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Well then it said my bank account, SS#, cell phone were all compromised and were connecting me with a tech who would set up a firewall for $885 (with $17.75 off). Wrong! I hung up and hard shut down my computer and unplugged it. While talking with DS who was of course sitting on the parking lot. His friend told me -turn on the computer and once it booted to right click on the internet and go from there. Today it's all good. ;) At least I believe it is!

Everybody else is still sleeping. I only got up so I could shower and leave our bathroom free for DS/DGS. Don't think Dsonil is back yet. He got a call this week that he was scheduled for lab work this morning at 7 and the Dr next week sometime. Said the Dr told him at his last appointment he'd see him in a year -it's 6 months which really sounds more like it to me since he's diabetic.

I did do a scan of my computer this morning with my anti-virus software. It says all is ok.

Finished the pots and pans just as the cleaning lady walked in. Went outside to help dh with something. It's kind of nice here. I would like it to be a bit warmer.

Good Morning!

I slept in until I woke naturally at 8am. I always enjoy the couple of days a week that I can do that.

DH has 2 appointments this morning in the city. The first is to pick up his diabetic shoes from the medical equipment place. The second appointment is an hour later, and it is for the heart echocardiogram test. I've texted him the request to stop by Sam's and pick up the one item (Wolf brand chili) that I can't get ordered online.

This morning is team cleaning. I'm always glad to see the results afterwards.

Hmm...wonder if Sam's here has the Wolf brand chili, Lady M? I've seen you gals talk about it being good. I'd like to try it if they do.

Talked with DD. Dr at school board clinic wouldn't see her as they see it as a Workmen's Comp case. So she and dsonil have gone to school to get paper work and then try to see WC Dr. She talked with the center in Bartow and they're sending someone to get the car so she doesn't have to drive it. Guess there was some questioning about whether this accident is the fault of the hotel where the SKILLS competition was held, or the organization holding the competition, or school board(s). At any rate it's a good thing she'd already scheduled a day off today, but now it's a 'sick day' so hope she gets credit for that. We still have to figure a time to go see DBIL but it's looking like later this afternoon right now. Dh said DBIL has a couple of therapists coming today so we may have to wait. Hoping dd doesn't take too long for her sake.

DD was going to drive DS/DGS to Orlando later today but I'm thinking it may well be dsonil now. She had all she could do yesterday driving that huge vehicle home from Jacksonville and then her car to Tampa. By the time we got home she was having a very hard time even getting in/out of the car.

Poor dd, Dee! Makes it worse to feel bad and have this run around about seeing someone!

I've been moderately productive here for a change. I have sheets from upstairs bed in dryer now, mattress pad from our bed in washer. I put vinegar through the coffeemaker and have reset it (I think.) I'm going to try to work some around here today on odds and ends and set a timer beginning at :15 after, if anyone wants to join me. I'll work to TOTH, then break for 15 min and hopefully do again.

Whoops, need to also go out and get CPAP stuff today too.

OH, and I'm still trying to get social security started. I gave them correct info after the March payment didn't show up because the account no "didn't match" and it was to come around the 16th. Just checked online and it says "suspended" and I need to update my info. I will wait and call next week. I know Friday and Monday are busiest days for phone calls, and I've missed that 9 a.m. slot that I got into last time I called. Not a happy camper. Maybe I'll go by the bank and ask them to show me exactly what the account no should be for direct deposit. My checks have a string of numbers with leading zeros as long as my arm.
