What has you soaring today?
My affirmation these days is it is my season to soar!

I have been working on the pupa in the rec room.
I got the last of the touch up "I hope" in that room done.
Put up the curtains and the area rug is back down, I moved the couch back in place,
also the TV & dresser, the work table is uncovered wiped off and I got the switch plate covers and
I got a working fan downstairs set up and on also.
mirror back up as well as a picture. Yea for this progress today! It was like 45 min. but each thing did not take that long to do.
So this has my mood soaring upward now!

Blessed- you have me smiling today with your descriptive way of starting.

I slept 11.5 hours last night!!! I was so very tired and kept falling asleep every time I sat down. I did not go to bed because I was trying to stay awake to put another dose of DD10 eye drops in. ANYway, my sleeping while sitting upright still counts in my sleep total.

I took an early morning walk in the garden. It was very enjoyable as I was harvesting radishes and picking peppers. The enjoyment came to a halt when I noticed my only ghost pepper was gone. The mole/vole has struck again!! It pulled the entire plant down into the ground and ate it. There is only the very tip top of the plant left showing in the hole. I am not amused.

Slow moving here, too, although I do believe I'm improving. I had a better night of sleep last night. I could probably have used the CPAP but when I tried it I was too stuffy and I didn't try it again later.

We have a birthday party to attend tonight - I'll need to figure out whether I'm going or not. It's outside, but if I'm sneezing and sniffling, I'm probably not going to have a good time. (Oh, who am I kidding, I won't know people, I probably won't have a good time anyway but probably must go for dh unless I'm sneezing and carrying around a box of Kleenex to blow my nose...)

I have more laundry and unpacking to do, just couldn't get it all done yesterday.

LadyM is ready to do battle! How do you get rid of your little furry garden friend?

I'm soaring simply because I had a good night's sleep and that translates into a much better day and accomplishing so much more.

DD's at her high school graduation but I expect she'll be home before long (it started at 9 on the football field). Thankfully showers are holding off until this afternoon according to my weather forecast. Know she said there's supposed to be a 'fly-over' if the weather's good so I suspect they'll have that. Strange thing is graduation is today, seniors have been done for a few days and the rest of the school is in session until Friday noon. Now just how much do you think will get done in that time? DD will have her students trying to prep their room(s) for the summer.

Still have no idea when we might be heading north. She's thinking more and more about skipping the 3rd round of hockey playoffs if that comes to be. For one thing our dgd27 is expecting her first sometime after June 1st. Since this is DShelley's dd, this DD feels she needs to be up there as a psuedo Mom. DGD is our only biological granddaughter -we do have step granddaughters however.

Just unloaded the dishwasher, refilled it and spiffed the kitchen. Before that I rode my exercycle for almost 1/2 hour. In between I'm trying to think of everything I need to get done in this coming week and when. Trying to decide whether to make an appointment for a hair cut or wait till I get up north.

I am glad you did have a nice walk in the garden before noticing what the menacing mole did.
my problem now is deer - I put a bunch of hosta's and Salomon seal in the back garden and the deer ate them down to nubs

I worked an hour in the 3 season room. I moved the majority of the furniture etc into the family room. I got rid of another small bookcase.

I am feeling like the tin man before Dorothy oiled him up. My lower back and ankles are hurting and moving sluggishly. I have been doing a lot of moaning, holding my back when I get up and groaning when I move around. Sometimes when I do the groan or oof sound my dogs start groaning and stretching when they get up

The dogs are driving me absolutely nuts - lots of rough housing.

Okey dokey I am going to set the alarm to finish the clean up in the back room before Stan ly steam er comes for the tile/rug and furniture.

I'm being somewhat forward thinking. I thought I had a hair cut on my calendar between now and when we go to RI and didn't find it, so I called and made an appt Monday to get my hair cut. Then called and made an appt on Tuesday for a pedicure so toes will look good too. Monday I also have body work and a Zoom with my mentor.

I have been thinking for over a year that Z's wedding was Memorial Day weekend but it's the weekend after.

DAR registrar friend asked if I could look for a record for her - she's been unable to find it so that's on my agenda for next week too.

the people are here cleaning the tile in the 3 season room - I am thrilled! it's better than I could ever do. I am glad that I got the room emptied this morning. Those baby steps the last 2 months have paid off.
My hope is to tape and paint the trim on the bottom this week. After I finish painting, I can move the minimal amount of furniture in there. I am down to 9 books in the whole house - thrilled to keep the ones I love and add and remove books that I read along the way. I am looking for another 2 wicker chairs on Facebook marketplace. I still have to make space, in the garage, for the small fridge that is now in the 3 season room.

They don't think they will be able to get one of the chairs clean in the front room.
