"Just another manic Monday!" This song is going through my head today.

I spent last week working on the pantry/office and part of that was making sure all the pantry items were in alphabetical order. This week I will work on the library to make sure it will look inviting and comfortable by the end of the week. Right now it looks like a dumping ground.

No special meal planned for tonight. We went out 2 nights in a row, so tonight I hope we stay home.

Morning y’all…

Still drinking my coffee and off to take my shower. Then I’ll start to assemble my office cabinet that came yesterday and finish up my office.

My laundry room needs my attention and if I can stay focused I’ll work on that. Need to do a Wally World run but not sure whether I’ll do it today or tomorrow.

I’ve taken apart my nasty grill and the parts are staring at me. Plus Fred needs to have his home freshened up as well.

Good Morning!

Cathy- Thanks for the start. Now that song is running through my head too!

Today is the first Monday of summer for us. I turned the alarms off to wake the kids up and get DD10 out the door to school.

I'm going to give myself a break and then decide what project/s I want to do since I have more time. Well, not more time but time that is not devoted to doing school and homeschool.

I need to create June calendar so I can see the entire week. I know there are 5 medical appointments this week, 3 church events, and 2 pool aerobics classes.

I am hoping that today is a slow and gentle day. We have a beautiful breeze and it’s sunny.

My thoughts for work today is to have a gentle meandering through the garden

1. Water everything not planted
2. Plant seeds as it is dry enough
3. Finish planting to few plants in front
4. Plant the remainder in back

Dd has been making dinners on the weekends which has been lovely but I am supposed to do the dishes - I missed them last night

Waving I did two sessions of stretching exercises today.
It was raining when I got up.
Bfast is in the oven.
Planning for yday done.
Queen has Platinum Jubilee this week.
Made & had lunch & vinner.
Made dog biscuits they are in the oven now.

I was a bit down today. It was cool cloudy and rained off & on today.

I was awake before 8 a.m. and thought I'd sleep just a little more, and woke up at 9:45! Dh is off today - he out walking now.

I need to finish the plant potting from yesterday. Don't know what else the day holds.

Taking a break…

Well, I got sidetracked and ended up doing the following
* vacuumed most of the house
* mopped mbr bathroom and mbr
* mopped half of the rest of the house including the kitchen
* watered all inside and outside plants
* straighten the lanai and put the chairs back in place
* vacuumed living room furniture and area rug
* cleaned Fred’s home and made sure he didn’t end up going down the drain

Stopping for second cup of coffee and some cottage cheese and strawberries.

My back is screaming…it’s telling me how out of shape I am so need to address that.

No headache

Washed some throw rugs and now they are in the dryer. Also am cleaning my washing machine.
Now to tackle putting my cabinet together after I finish my coffee.

I forgot the neighborhood has a Memorial Day pool party today! Dh and I went up there for awhile, he's still there. Food truck, decorations, lots of kids and families. We have a small covered pavilion with tables so sat in the shade. Dh stayed to talk and visit.

I need to get out and finish what I started yesterday.

Quiet afternoon here! I came upstairs to make a card for the wedding we're going to next weekend. I made two - now I have an extra too for another occasion - and cleaned up the stamping desk. May stamp some more or may do some clean up on the reset of the room. Dh went to dfriends to have a glass of wine or two with them them afternoon.
