Blessed - Your garden schedule seems to be very thorough and well thought out. BWTG!
I have been somewhat productive earlier this morning but then I switched to study time. I managed to feed the kids and furkids in between study times.
I made myself a BGS that included strawberries, tomatoes, and peppers from the garden. I added some rotisserie chicken and cottage cheese to meet my protein goal.
Last night was noisy and bright for hours with the energy from thunderstorm. Thankfully, that was the worst of it. All that noise & lightning resulted in only an inch of rain.
This afternoon they are predicting that we will have more rain & thunderstorms. I am hoping for the timing of the storms to be delayed. We have had to postpone the summer kickoff event at church for the past 2 weeks. We can't postpone it anymore, so we are going to have it and hope for the best. There will be water filled bouncy houses and slides so the kids will be wet anyway if it starts raining. The biggest concern is the possibility of lightning. DH starts cooking hot dogs and hamburgers on the outside grill at 3pm. He will be under an awning so will hopefully be able to continue cooking if it rains. I will help prepare the other part of the meal inside where it will be dry!

Re: Rabbit Rabbit 1 June PWYC
Hello everyone. June already!! I've never heard of the Rabbit! Rabbit! comment; very interesting tradition.
I am having another relaxing day. I slept in again, awoke at 10 a.m. Watched the weather channel for a little while before actually getting up. Dsis made a scrambled egg omelette for brunch. After that I paid my bills for the first half of the month. I have also done my devotions and wrote a few lines in my daily calendar. I guess the rest of the afternoon is free for sewing or reading.
Congratulations to Twins' dson for his first home ownership!
Congratulations Dee on your new baby Dggd. Her name is beautiful and I'm glad she and dgd are doing well. I'm glad you made it home safely again.
Blessed, your yard and gardens sound so pretty!
Nancy, summer routines are good. Sunrise here was 6:35 a.m., sunset will be 8:19 p.m. We are now getting into our rainy season with cloudy or showers in the late afternoon or evening caused by the sea breeze.
Lucy, (((Hugs))).
Looks like there are some dark clouds developing and the breeze is picking up. I just talked to dson-J on his way home from work and he said it is raining there (about 90 miles north of us). TWC is watching for something to develop from that hurricane which crossed Mexico; we will get a lot of rain from that this weekend.
Dbro-in-law has been outside doing yardwork and is now resting. Dsis is taking a nap. I'm going to read for a while. I'll sew this evening while watching the hockey game.
