You are absolutely one busy bee -well both you and Blessed, Lady M.

I've been researching and composed an email to S outhwest airlines. The voucher I was supposed to have almost a week ago still hasn't appeared in my email. So wrote a note about all this and hope I soon get a positive reply. Gave them all the information I possibly could.

Tomorrow evening we're supposedly having a family get-together here for a 'mini-shower' for new Great Granddaughter. It'll be our first meeting. Just ended up getting her gift card to Amazon. Shopping at this point is nigh on to impossible. Though I do need to take two pairs of dungarees for dh back. I looked and looked for the right ones -and they're wrong. So next have to find that invoice online and get it printed out. The nearest W almart is 30 miles away.

Dh is feeling a little stronger today and so am I btw. Think my extra duties are kicking in my muscles. I'm all for that. I really do need to find my balance exercises however and get motivating there. I'm so unsteady and they certainly can't hurt.

Are you still needing help with the title, Harriet? I think you solved it before I even got here.

Good morning, all!

I am sitting on hold, hoping to pay a doctor's bill of DC's. Every 30 seconds or so, the hold music is interrupted to tell me lies like "our system is set up to keep your place in line; if you leave a message with your phone number, we will call you back" (um, no, tried that last week and still haven't heard back) and "you can pay your bill online through our patient portal" (nope, that didn't work -- that's why I'm calling in the first place). Oh! Finally after half an hour on hold (much of which was spent with DD reading me Tumblr posts over the the various hold messages ), a human being got to me. We now have the bill paid. Now I need to go online to pay a bill of DD's. That's with our local hospital system, and their online payment system works smoothly.

I'm just happy to no longer have the dueling voices in my head!

Hmm... my most recent reward to myself has been sort of for my family, actually. I ordered bath sheets in the appropriate colors for my children, so I can remake the bathroom appropriately. By remake, I don't mean anything big; I just want to be able to put matching towels in. But nobody in my house cares about it but me, so I guess that's my reward.

I don't know if it's so much that morning errands take away from afternoon motivation on my part, blessed. Rather, whenever I do errands, they always seem to take longer than planned, and I just want to sit down and relax after.

Do keep cool and hydrate, LadyM. Glad you were able to do so for those bunnies!

OK, going to pay that other bill now. Maybe have lunch after, though it's a little early.

Hi to everyone, and I'm all for rewarding ourselves somehow with something on this Wacky Wednesday. How's that for merging it all together?!

House is quiet, DH is out at a job that I begged him not to do...but he's out there. With a helper. Got 1 phone call so far needing help finding something that isn't available any longer.... and he complained about the heat out there and that has me worried because it is 89° last time I looked at the temp. He used to be able to work slow and steady with a lot of breaks with drinks and be ok. So...as he was complaining about the heat I had to remind him I didn't tell him to go out and do this work. Sheesh.

Dr. appointment yesterday with him was sure something. Dr. complimented me on the new patient papers filled out, "such a good job with these" ... and yes I was able to pull out the notebook with all the info and fill everything in legibly. I figure that helps to keep mistakes at bay. DH went to the dr. with his slippers on...which I totally get. He needs a special setup to sit and get his shoes on and off and this was the easiest way to accomplish this in case he ended up undressing and dressing in a paper "gown" and getting shoes back on. Anyway, I realize it made him look like a very disheveled old person not quite there. Note to self: look for a pair of slippers that look more like boat shoes or street shoes for these occasions.

Too bad he can't manage slip on sandals or flip flops. One has to be able to flex their toes to keep those on... and falling hazard is probable with those otherwise.

Anyway, I am S2S with rollers. I have a new routine, shower every morning so I can use all the lotions/potions Dr. gave me, and this seems to be working. LOL brought in, some hand washing done and hanging up.

I guess I will see what's next. I did do my QT. Oh, other Dr. called that the biopsy is not in yet. We received an email from them about something...and I couldn't get an account set up online... and didn't know what the message was. Still don't know, but we did talk on the phone and determine their test hasn't returned yet.

called cleaning company and they will now come every other week. I am hoping that I can get to the point where I can get them only once a month starting in January. They were truly an asset when I broke my ankles and when we had the work done in and outside the house!

I can't believe it's 11:05 already.

dd younger is having a hard couple days. praying for her to breath in and work things out. She is the one I worry about (right now).

Home from haircut and a stop at the library and had a veggie and hummus snack. I don't think it filled me up. I went off on a genealogy sidetrack trying to help someone on Facebook.

I'm heading upstairs for a while. DD's dfriend is dropping her off here to get my car but I'll come back down then to give her key.

I have been on the phone with my d brother, my d feisty mother, and dd younger for the last hour.

Mom has a dentist consultation at 4pm Florida time. She thought she had changed it bc she didn't want to go - she hadn't. dd younger was driving home from work to pick her up and mom told her she was not going in all uncertain terms - she is really really mad that she has to go. She even spoke back to my d brother and she would never do that so she is pretty mad. I called her and told her she had time to get dressed and she angrily said she would get dressed and that it was stupid. It's good she can get mad at me - it doesn't bother me and if it helps her vent then I am okay with it.

She really needs to go bc her implant teeth (she has a whole mouth implants) fell out and are temporarily in. She has cavities that need to be fixed before they replace her teeth again. Today is only a consultation.

Oh well mom is feisty - probably keeps her young!
poor dd younger - she will get hit with everything. I got the papers filled out online.

dd younger took the batteries out of her key fobs which has been a very good thing.

We are on the road. Ddil didn’t make it. She has strep throat. Ds is driving and we’re making it fine. Everyone is hungry but we are looking forward to eating at the Varsity; it’s a traditional stop for us. It’s a huge hamburger place that has been there forever.
