We do a lot of sorting around our homes. Socks come to mind, but often bigger things!
What needs your attention today, for organization, calendaring, planning?
May you come out with an even number of socks and a well-sorted Saturday.

Re: Sorting out Saturday
All of my socks are the same, so I never need to sort them.
I cleaned out under my kitchen sink this morning. I had a roll of soft plastic liner that has been calling my name for a while. I took everything out, took out the old liner, wiped the interior of the cupboard, cut the new liner pieces, wiped the interior again with a dry paper towel and put down the new liner and put almost everything back in. A bottle of hand sanitizer looked really cloudy, so it went into the garbage. All of that took less than 10 minutes and that included me having to get up off the floor 3 times. I don't put anything at the very back, so there is nothing around the pipe or behind it.
Now I'm tempted to do the bathroom cupboard.
It's a long weekend here in Ontario. Nice, cooler weather today but the heat is coming back tomorrow and Monday.
Dh has requested hot dogs and hamburgers for supper. There is more zucchini to BBQ if he wants it. Corn has finally been eaten.

Re: Sorting out Saturday
woke up and fed the dogs and cats - I hear dh's voice from the front room that he already fed them - you would never know that they got fed - Labs!!!
I am trying to keep them quiet for at least an hour - goofballs!
my niece is having an open house today - so excited for her - she has a new dog and her first house!
I didn't do the kitchen last night which means I have to do this first.
shower
water outside
going over the plan for this week
bank
d cathy so happy you have a cooler day today!!! great idea on the socks.

Re: Sorting out Saturday
Up early did a project pjs, s2s, walk all done yea!
Now I have a pattern that fits.
Fed luvy my pooch, [not her real name], put water on her kibble and she waited till we were back from the walk to have that.
Now I can finish my coffee.
I was wepy and out of sorts this morning bs was low, stepped on luvy's tail by accident oops.
Got water and wet towels out from the ac to dry box fan is on down stairs.
Meal plan / that would be nice more left overs.
I made up boiled eggs for egg salad san.
I've been working on my Aug. plans and fall planning trying to decide if I like the color block planning aka time blocking.
Sort of like am routine pm routine etc. seems like I've already been using that! LOL!

Re: Sorting out Saturday
Good morning!
Harriet = Thank you for the start and sorting encouragement.
I am back to feeling like my normal self. It was not a pleasant 12 hours of yucky feeling reaction to c19 booster, but it sure beats the 24 hours reaction I had before. DD11 also ran a low-grade fever (100-101) but she felt fine. We just laid around and let time pass.
Daily routines 1,2,3 are completed. Routine #4 is in progress.
I'm setting up and printing DH health sheets for the rest of the year. Each morning he records basic health facts (Temperature, Blood Sugar, Pulse, Oxygen % and Blood Pressure). He takes 3 medications that are not daily, so I made a formula to automatically add a reminder for each of those to his health sheets on the days he should take them.
I've been adding events to the August calendar as I prepare to create excel sheets for them. Also print monthly calendar for front of refrigerator.

Re: Sorting out Saturday
It is Desk Day for me, with that type of paper SORTING. Hopefully a morning chore only.
blessed, ds37's children's school is not too far away, the same public one that dd23 attended for her last few years of elementary. (Just thinking - It was being built when she was in 3rd grade, I guess.) This will be their last year going together as siblings to the same elementary. Dd42's children take advantage of the online public school system, with zoom classrooms.
Storms are forecast here for several days. I don't know that it cools us down much. Ds can't mow anyway because his mower needs repair.
We're expecting a visit from dd23. Hope so. I have a bunch of things for her that she's supposed to have picked up already.

Re: Sorting out Saturday
how smart that your d grandchildren can use the online zoom from the local school!
wouldn't it be nice to have elementary school go from kindergarten to 8th grade - here we have kindergarten to 5th grade, then middle school and then high school. It was so hard when everyone was at different times.
It's still hard to believe that school will be starting again soon!
