LadyM mentioned needing to get her act together for the CPA; I thought we could all use a little dose of getting our act together for today!
Whatever act it is, what ever play or production you have going, there's some where we need a little extra organization/head together/work.

I have to go to the bank later to deposit dh's tax refund cheque. We are also going out for supper tonight to celebrate. So now... I have another challenge to post.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Re: GMAT Wednesday PWYC
For me, its just my general life right now. I'm feeling squeezed by what's coming up and by finishing the kitchen and getting house together, and by the fact I haven't done real genealogy work in a few days and I need to finish this project. I've let the house go because I wanted to get away from the noise/work downstairs and now I need to pull it together. We have people coming for Rosh Hashana in a little less than three weeks, and in between now and then have a five day trip to New Orleans for a wedding.
And the truth is, I don't want to do anything right now. The kitchen/pantry is marginally back together and I guess I won't feel pressed until the holiday is a week away.
I need to get through some routines and do some things today, however. I think I'm seeing tile people, counter people, and the project manager at some point. I rescheduled my body work to late this afternoon instead of this a.m. so I'll be here. I do need a trip to drugstore too, and tomorrow, the grocery.

Re: GMAT Wednesday PWYC
Gooooooooood Morning! with a fast-paced song to go with the greeting.
My morning is off to a good start. I woke up during the night a couple times because my brain was thinking of things that I needed to add to the spinning plates. I am thankful that I was able to go right back to sleep and wake up well rested. (90 sleep score)
This morning it felt like a privilege to do normal transportation. DD11 commented on the way to school how nice it is for the SUV to be working again. Such a small thing that brought appreciation and joy.
My project for the day - Prep meal to feed 150 tonight. I am making notes of things that need to be done and a time frame to do them. Once I get through this first time doing this meal prep then I will have my notes to feel more confident in the future. The menu is super simple so that gives me comfort. I'm sure I will make some blunders but hopefully they will be small ones.
Next up = ELA Evaluate counterclaims lesson with DS14.

Re: GMAT Wednesday PWYC
Yesterday I sure decided to GMAT and get that work done on the back porch. Today I will continue working on that. 2 years ago in October (I think) I did this similar work on the front porch. I had decided to wait and take a rest before doing the back porch. Then life got in the way with holidays and of course after that Covid took my attention away to other things. So now I am back to it.
This is the hardest work I've done in that time. My legs are telling me they had a pretty good workout yesterday. But they are not too sore to continue on today. I had a pretty good rest last night. The smarter thing would have been to get started really early before the heat of the day, but the house was quiet and I rested, then I did my morning things first. I went outside looking for DH who was weeding outside. I thought he was going out to get the paint I need and take back the little pint he bought... but he went outside doing his work first. So I found him and helped him get washed off and ready to go to the store. In the meantime I'm having my 2nd cup of coffee.
I need to put the tape across the picture window and glass block window and sliding glass doors and work on the calk next. Phew. Getting started is the hardest part of this. Once I'm out there started it isn't so bad.
LadyM, I sure hope you have some help getting that meal out for all those people. And I'm glad your SUV is working again. One less thing on your plate today.
I finished my study for the week. I will just need to do a review of it all before Friday. I'm glad I worked hard at it before I started this work.

Re: GMAT Wednesday PWYC
I've been working on many computer 'plates'. Just finished doing the product registration for our new B lackstone griddle. Dh so far has it out of the box and now he's napping. He's so much wanting to feel better.
Evidently his GP, whom we saw yesterday, received a pretty scathing note from dh's cardiologist. But at least now perhaps things are beginning to move. He sees his pulmonary dr. tomorrow morning and then has his endoscopy at a Rochester hospital on Friday morning. Hoping that shows everything okay so the cardiologist can proceed with his part. Dh for the most part does seem some better since we reduced his blood pressure medicine a week ago. I'm pretty sure it's a med that takes time to build up and then, of course, to come down.
DD returned to teach yesterday after a week off for Covid. She's feeling better, just tired and of course the lasting congestion. Came into her room to find it at 86-degrees. The AC had quit working sometime over the long weekend. So, they got her classes moved, then the entire campus lost power.
I awoke several times during the night remembering that today marks my birthing day for DShelley. I did post something on FB, but not especially that it's her birthday, but to urge people to get their "Sleep Apnea" attended to. So many think it's just a small thing to put up with -no! It's a dangerous condition if not treated. DShelley evidently had reached a point some time before her coma that she thought she no longer needed her CPAP. She'd had surgery and lost a lot of weight and she obviously thought with the weight loss she no longer needed it. So, not true. Until then we had never heard of anyone passing away because of sleep apnea. Then a few years later our young friend/neighbor passed away from the same thing.
Printed out a recipe for dh this morning for Pasta Fagioli. He saw it yesterday and wants to try making it. I made no reference to the fact that he says chili bothers him so we'll see.
DS-R and DDIL stopped by last evening after they brought their RV back to their site. They'd camped along the ocean in Myrtle Beach for about a week & a half. Said he had a very difficult time getting it backed into their site because the driveway really needs to be rolled. Have to ask dh if he remembered to tell his 'boss'. Said they'd finally had it with all the trouble they've had with this fifth wheel -ever since it was bought brand new. They're planning a trip to Hershey later this month for the big RV show there and plan to do a trade for one they've heard a lot about. They've had the same brand RV for at least the last 3 and they plan to change. If ever there was a lemon, need I say more?
You are one busy bee, Harmony! I just figured out today that I have 7 weeks left to do whatever I want to accomplish here before going south. (At least that's the plan!)

Re: GMAT Wednesday PWYC
ordered my first Christmas present
I also found another white elephant idea: a teeshirt of a sweat shirt that says Curmudgeon - I have to think about it - in the future.
I picked up a white elephant: Off with your shoes mat with the queen of hearts. (color version). we don't buy presents but we do the white elephant. I thought I had bought it already but I looked on my shelf of white elephant gifts and it wasn't there.
I also ordered dh a book.
watering flower bed
flip flopped laundry
put away laundry
ordered groceries
