Yeah, not having water is the worst part, and not being able to flush.
I've been sidetracked. Dd called and we talked awhile. Actually thirty minutes. It's hard to get off the phone with her. While talking, I tried to log in to my insurance so I could print a prescription ID card (they said this a.m. they didn't have a current one?) and I ended up having to call to get that.
I'm getting back to my work. It's a relief to know Harmony is okay.
Kathryn, it's so good to hear from you.
Ugh. then I had to try to figure out a pharmacy issue. Have emailed doc.

Like a breath of fresh air coming and seeing Kathryn in several spots. So good to see you!
I've been working ALL afternoon -first I cleaned out all the cabinets under our living room TV -there are 3-double door/2-shelf cabinets so there was a lot 'crammed' in there. Then I proceeded to clean out the 3 baskets on the top shelf of our desk, then on to cleaning off the bottom shelf. I had a lot of stuff. I have an 18" high pile of papers, etc to go to the dumpster later. Also dumped our very full shredder. Found even more to give to our DGD27 and our 2 DSons. I have several things here that I want to ask DGD if she's interested in having. Love having them, but we're not getting any younger and an RV really doesn't need all this stuff. Keep telling myself it's a 'vacation home' even if we are here 6 months of the year.
I had plenty of trash for dh to take to the dumpster (he just left to go take his shower) to show for my afternoon of cleaning out. Felt a bit like Lady M and I was ruthless!
Dh tracks our assets daily (he's turned into my father, who used to track his stocks obsessively, but would never sell so the value of the stock meant nothing) and managed to get himself locked out of my account. He was signing in from Europe and so it challenged him with a question and he spelled the answer incorrectly.) So I had to phone in to get things reset.
I had the woman in stitches because I was amused by all this and she relaxed because she wasn't dealing with an outraged customer. The final straw was I had to create answers for three challenge questions and told her, "I've been married for so long, I can't remember who was at the wedding so I was having trouble deciding one of the answers. There's a 50/50 chance I've named the wrong person!"
Dd's MIL was on the Skype call this afternoon and likes my hair cut. Dgd (now 3.75) goes for her first hair cut tomorrow morning and said I could come to watch. Her hair is curly but, when it is wet, it straightens out to an inch above her underwear. Her mom booked the appointment without remembering I had suggested taking dgd for the day tomorrow, so I'll take her after the hair cut for several hours. But possibly not back to my place because that would waste a lot of driving time. We can do lunch and maybe a museum or go to a park. The weather is supposed to wonderful. I can't go to their place because dsil is sick. Again.
After picking DD11 up from school, we went to the local grocery store to get a few things. This morning DH mentioned he was hungry for a bologna sandwich. He only wants to eat that once or twice a year, so we don't keep it as a staple. I delivered the sandwich supplies to DMIL home so DH can have that for his supper tonight.
Hospice is bringing a portable x-ray to DMIL home tonight to see if she broke a bone in her foot. DMIL slid out of bed onto the floor and hurt her foot. Now DMIL can't put any weight on that foot because of the pain.
We had covid going around our community this past month but now it has shifted to RSV. Many people in our community have been diagnosed with RSV and/or strep the past couple of weeks. We got our flu and covid shots but there isn't one for RSV.
Our leftover stash is empty. I need to do some cooking. I have a family pack of pork chops thawing. I'm trying to decide how I want to prepare them. I'm going to fill the instant pot with potatoes to steam/bake.
