We haven't had frost yet, I image some of you in the more northern areas have. Bw2 mentioned cleaning up hostas yesterday and that reminded me of frosts yet to come.

I'm enjoying the autumnal days here.

I always set my alarm for garbage day. This morning it was still dark when I took the composting, garbage and recycling to the end of the driveway. It's been raining for most of the morning, so that adds to the issue. I love sunshine, but I know we need the rain and the wind.

Dh went and picked up his helper. They have 3 customers today. One for a tire changeover, not sure what the next one is and the third is yesterday's over-fussy customer who called us 3 times and left voice messages and texts when we didn't answer our phones. She has my number, so I was part of the series of calls/texts. We had sent her to someone regarding her muffler. The reasons for all the calls/texts was that the muffler guy is booked up until next Monday and she just wanted us to know that. We didn't need to know that, because we can't get her in to see him any faster, which is part of what she wanted... sigh... I have no idea why she is coming today. Plus she had to tell us that she couldn't come until after her hair appointment with "whoever". None of that was required, but she explains everything whether we need to know or not.

Therefore... because 2 female customers are coming, I'm staying home from knitting today.

Dishwasher is full, so it's doing it's thing. I have also washed a few large pots and casserole dishes that are too big for the dishwasher.

Supper tonight will be something with hamburger meat because dh took it out to defrost yesterday. We had liver and onions last night.

I still have zinnias blooming, and my asparagus fern doesn't give it up until we have a hard freeze. I'm tempted to bring it in because it's so big, but I've been through all those little shreds of fern dropping.

I have a mammogram today and need to get moving. And I need to stop dawdling on finishing what I'm working on upstairs and be done with it.

Our supper is stuffed peppers.

Good morning!

Apparently I failed to actually post a post I had written yesterday.

Task bingo served me well yesterday, so I will continue with it today.

Twins, I hope your mammogram is as routine as can be. I always remember Lynlee’s description of having her cups turned into saucers. I hope she is doing well. I do remember one of the things I wrote yesterday was a “good on you” for putting your foot down about your needs. No frost here yet; we’re close enough to the lake that it moderates the temperatures this time of year.

Cathy, why do the female customers mean you skip knitting? Is it just that you handle the women better than your DH? (I could see needing a buffer for the woman who called yesterday. You must have the patience of a saint to deal with her! But I suppose customers are a necessity if you’re going to run a business.)

There’s next to no food around here. One of the tasks on today’s bingo card has to be making a list and heading to the store for at least a few things. DC is about ready to go, early enough that we can swing through Dunkin for some breakfast. Time to head out. Have a great day, everyone!

I slept well and hard! That felt great had dreams I remember but did not make much sense to me.
Lucy L. hang in there that is how I was feeling last week and I am doing better this week.

I am considering some mowing bc the weather is good here.
I have a batch of mini hand pies bfast ones to roll out fill & bake stuff is prepped for them.
Got the pans cleaned up last nite I had used all the cast iron ones! LOL!
Meat pies next not sounding like as much fun how ever I may just freeze em up uncooked.
I did get the stuff for them for later.

I did some stretching this morning and dumped trash in the main part of the house.
Journaling & planning is done now.

I'm leaving the house. Not all of a.m. routine done but I'm clean and have eaten and took meds.

Mystery I stay home in case they want to hang around while their vehicle is getting looked at. The first just had dh drive her back to her house which is near by. The second one will be the PITA...she'll want to tell me all about what the muffler guy said and did, when her next hair appointment is, how her mother is... blah, blah, blah... my being here helps keep most of the female customers out of the garage, because everybody wants to see under their car and ask questions. Dh hates it when anyone does that. He told 2 male customers that he has retired because they both need to tell dh how to fix whatever. Neither one of them are automotive technicians AKA mechanics.

Morning to y’all…

Up with morning routines done. Today is laundry day and that has been started. Next up … prep meat that I bought yesterday and put it in the freezer.

I still need some things from the grocery store which I couldn’t purchase from sams, so I’ll do it after I finish freezing the meat and cleaning up the kitchen.

Nancy… I had a strange dream last night that I was hangin out with Ben Afflex which is weird it’s self cause I don’t even like the guy. Don’t remember much about it either except I was standing next to him and he was way taller than me

Harmony… we had another storm last night with heavy rain and lots of thunder … didn’t last long though.

Met a couple yesterday that own a home in Pine Island, which is one of the places that we’re almost entirely destroyed. They are from NJ and winter here. Just arrived and learned their home is still standing with little damage, which is hard to imagine. They were headed out to their home to stay. The road leading to their house has been temporarily been rebuilt… that in its self is amazing if you saw what the bridges and road looks like.

Anyway due to all the rescues, power trucks and the such the 20 minute trip to get to the island has been taking 4 hours. They may have water and power by today, but no internet till the first of Dec and no mail service. We wished them well. They live in a part of NJ on the water that was hard hit with the super Sandy
and told us they had very little damage from that storm as well. I made mention that they must have some very strong guardian angles hanging around them and they laughed and said they though the same thing.

Saw the pictures of that bridge to Pine Island, RR. That was indeed something! Glad to hear there's at least some with little damage there.

Dh went to the Dr's alone this morning. He just called to see what the magnesium he's taking. Dr told him it should be magnesium oxide for the intense leg cramps he's having. So we'll pick that up this afternoon. Right now it's plain magnesium. Both his GP and cardiologist think his intense itching is still from the antibiotics he was taking for the H Pylori infection. He's been off them for a week tonight. So, hopefully, that will begin to subside. I guess both these antibiotics build up in the system and need time to dissipate. Which reminds me we still don't have a requisition for his follow up test.

I had the opposite of Nancy's sleep last night. Slept for 53 minutes between 10:30 and little before 12. Then slept off and on for 55 minutes between 5 and 7 this morning. Guess I have to break down and ask my Dr tomorrow if there's something I can take to help me sleep. Know it's not melatonin.

Good morning!

I am in Fall Break mode. It was nice to ignore the alarms this morning. Each time an alarm went off I just turned it off and smiled as I continued my doings. I could turn the alarms off and then turn them back on next Tuesday, but I'm kinda enjoying the reminders that I'm not doing my normal.

I'm in the process of developing a food plan for me AND a meal plan for the family. It feels like I'm planning a weird Tetris game with fitting all the pieces together for the win.

All the Thank You cards have been written and DH has left to take them for delivery.

DS14 is at work.

We are planning a mini trip later today. DH and DS14 want to attend 40-acre size car swap show. DD11 and I will do a little exploring or something else to occupy our time while they are there.
