Sunday PWYC - Make it your own

Post by Twins' Mom »

I'm going to be piddling around the house today because we're having a dinner guest tonight, but make your own Sunday whatever you need!

Enjoy the day!

We're having a beautiful day here in Western NY state today. Imagine it's much the same for Cathy -hope so. After the cold we've been having it almost feels tropical.

As I said yesterday I had ZERO sleep Friday night. Last night I slept wonderfully till DS-A woke me with a text at 6:40am. Our DGS-10 was playing in a league game about 5 minutes from us (that is once we got up to the road -it's now taking us longer with the new exit to our road). In fact DDIL just texted me to let us know DGS's team won 4/2. I debated between warm sleep and very cold ice rink but the rink won. Glad I went as we got to see them all (DS-A, DDIL & DGS). They actually let us know a couple of days ago that they had just booked tickets to come to FL to see us at Christmas. I'm happy that we'll get to see them for a few days at least. More than when we have been up here.

I'm just getting ready to go to W mart -about 20+ miles away. Have to return a pair of boots we bought online that were too small for DH. Have just 2 or 3 things I have to pick up to get us through the week -like milk. Dh is out winterizing -think they have 7 to do today.

RR, I caught your piece about the mosquitoes being so bad and I certainly can understand why. Just saw a piece that the government there has a multi-million $ war going on against them because they're so bad. Hope you can escape them.

G'mornin'!

Getting ready to watch church service.
"Attended" prayer meeting last night.

Nancy, your dog herding you to the right choices - that's so sweet.

lucylee, don't beat yourself up. Sometimes you get a lot done, sometimes you don't. There are a lot more ways to be impressed with yourself (healthily) than asking yourself how much you've worked.

Dee it was absolutely gorgeous here yesterday, with wind. Today is even nicer because there is no wind, so I was able to burn a lot of cardboard that has been piling up.

Thanks, Harriet! I am in a better frame of mind this morning. I went through my planner and made a list of all I had done since that last ballgame trip. Something “extra” for almost every day. So — starting this week fresh and revived! :)
About to go into church.
Tomorrow is another day.

Today is a day for doing things around the house. I've sent dh to the grocery - he was the one complaining that there wasn't anything to eat around here yesterday, so we'll see what he brings home extra. I have laundry going, have done some of a.m. routine. The TV on all the time is even louder than it was, btw. But I'm getting used the hearing aids, I guess.

At :15 after I'm setting the timer to work for 45 minutes. I have lots of little things to do. Later I'm hoping to get some of the pansies into planters out front.

Last evening after dinner I swept and mopped mostly to help with muscle movement to help get the soreness out of them.
So glad that task is done.
I was up in the nite could not sleep bs did not crash b/c I had a snack it was #82.

I have frozen bread dough I made up thawing to cook later on I did not get bread this week.
I cooked ahead mini meat pies for later so I can refreeze or eat them.
They taste authentic because the crust is not flaky LOL!
My dog offered to help eat em.
Dreamed of her in puppy fur and chickens in an office last nite!

This is me NOT eating biscuits and gravy that sound really good.
mostly bc I am not inclined to get up and cook em.

Yall' might want to see my ramblins in H & F thread about a planner for that topic I am working on with the new diet
suggestion from the dr. not sure I can do that with my diab. but will come up with something. I already feel better & thinner.
