Boy, I needed this day of rest.
Even though I have done three loads of laundry and changed sheets today. I needed that too!
Dh feels sooo bad. His fever is between 100-101. OTC meds till morning at least… he is so miserable.

Re: First Monday In December - PWYC
Late check in. Only here because I was looking for directions to the building the endodontic dentist is in. I've been there once before when I took DH to get his done. Actually twice. It's a tricky place to get to, right out there next to a service road that has no driveway nearby to get there. Must go up another way and come in through the shopping plaza to get there. I think I'll find it. Not sure DH will be taking me. He's preoccupied with other things.
I have my outside lights up and I got my tree up. Everything is just boxes and the empty stable is set on the table and a box of the shepherds etc. nearby. Stockings hung and nativity picture up. But I am just not motivated to do the rest. I'm just not feeling Christmas this year at all. Sunday I did go to church and we'd signed up for the lunch / bingo after the last service so attended that. I wasn't feeling especially well, sorta crampy but not bad when I left in the morning, but as time rolled on it got worse and I was anxious to get home.
Most of the last 2 days spent not feeling well with tummy problems. Stopped eating solids and took med which helped. Knew I had to get over this before appointment tomorrow. After waiting so long for this, there is no way I would put it off to wait again. I'm very apprehensive about it anyway.
Oh Lucylee, sorry to read that.... glad DMom is doing ok.
Must look back and see what's been happening. We've had bad news about 2 friends. 1 friend we've known for 20+ years, and he was having problems and died at home. Other friend was one DH tried to help a few times, had evidently suffered dementia and when the police did a wellness check it was not a good scene. Several had been trying to get in touch with him. I had noticed his absence at church. He lived all alone.
DH had his big work truck up at local used car lot with people we knew...trying to sell, and actually one guy came here to look at everything. Steps in the right direction...until today when DH promised a family he'd pull permit to do some work which is absolutely the wrong thing to do. Especially the type of work he'll be doing and trying to find help. Whole thing puts the clean-out on hold and means I must pay for the insurance policy which sits on my desk waiting for final word from DH that he is done... and also puts on hold the knee replacement surgery he wanted to do in January... and the way I feel about all of it is just unexplained. Which is why I might be on my own for the appointment tomorrow. Sigh...
Sorry post is all about me, I will catch up when I have time.

All my posts have been all about me lately. Really no time to keep up with anything but I wanted y’all to know my absence doesn’t mean dmom is worse of anything. It’s just that I am either in a rush or totally exhausted 24 hrs a day lately.
