I don't have any intentions managing Monday other than continuing to exhale and enjoy Day #4 of our 17 day Christmas Break. I expect toward the end of this break that I will get motivated and inspired to start planning the 2nd semester of 10th grade school assignments, but I am not there yet.

Today my calendar only has one appointment, so I have the freedom to do whatever I want with most of the day. With that freedom comes the responsibility of deciding, planning, and executing my decisions and plans. These free hours are fleeting so I want to make the most of them.

DH has appt with our family doctor this morning. We are hopeful it will result in an easy solution.

Dishwasher is going. One large pot has been washed. Kitchen is tidier now than it was when I got up. All garbage cans have been emptied. Almost every one was over flowing last night.

Spaghetti and meatballs for supper tonight.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

dd younger (fingers crossed) is coming home tomorrow night!

dh's last present is supposed to be here tonight.

dd older is home today and we are going to give the house a spiff up before dd younger comes home.

today I have a big sign of Let it go that anything I thought I would do for Christmas will be put to the side. I just want maintenance and make gingerbread people and see the lights.

today
check cloths
check meds
make sure dd younger took care of mom's gifts to brother.
room by room check!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I need to recover from this trip, and being away the weekend before. I posted in J&C earlier, I'm in the dog house with dh and that's dragging me down.

OH my, Nancy! I hope someone can take care of it soon! So cold, and you have snow out too. I'd be crying for sure.

LadyM, I'm so glad you are getting some downtime. You go at such a pace most the time.

I did just get in my 250 steps for the first hour. Jumped up and walked around the house until I got there.

I need to get seriously moving instead of sitting here. I've successfully remembered my therapist's name and made an appt for right after New Years. I'm dealing with the seasonal slump, being too too busy, and the post portfolio slump. I'm supposed to be at temple at 1:30ish.

Now talking to dd on phone.

(((Nancy))) Maybe check with your gas company to see if they will do it? Our gas company will come light pilot. If over 65 years old it is a free service, if under 65 years old there is a $35 charge for doing it.

I have gathered Micro multiple dog beds and the kid's bathroom rugs. It is past the time to get all these things washed! These are items that are not on the regular routine schedule to get done so they get ignored most of the time.

I am going to copy Cathy meal plan with a minor tweak. I will make Spaghetti & meat sauce for the family.

I did not use my paper based planner yesterday and the results were not good. I am grateful to have a plan that is proven to work to use today.

I've met the first 2 hours of 250 steps goal. It is so easy that I feel kinda ridiculous celebrating but when I try to do hard things then I fail. I do better with easy small successes and celebrations.
