New Year TA DA Tuesday
First Ta Da Tuesday of the new year! List those ta das, one by one, large and small!
Or, alternatively, the day that isn't Monday. I'm sure a lot of us will be confused about the day of the week today! Feels like Monday to me!

Re: New Year TA DA Tuesday
Thankful for better news about Dee's dh last night, hoping the improvement holds and continues.
I am so thankful dh is back at work today and the house is quiet, just me and the dog. He took her three laps around the circle before I got up this a.m., which is so good for both. I'll walk her later also. Dh also got the garbage out and remembered to take what was in the kitchen out before going to the street. I need to reinforce that behavior! I also purged the refrigerator and took out the compost for pick up later.
Today I have body work - my back is so achy, probably because I've gained so much weight and it all goes to my middle. And walking the dog makes it ache too. I also need to go by the drugstore to pick up scripts.
And:
-call about invisible fence appt
-call to set up appt for sleep doc for CPAP follow up
I think we're to have heavy rain later so my plan is to do what I want today. And overnight, scattered T-storms. Wonder if ddog needs meds tonight? (I need a crystal ball to know when to give a dog meds for T-storms. When I do it, we usually don't have the storms, if I don't, I needed to and regret it.)
Dh bowls tonight.

Re: New Year TA DA Tuesday
Morning Y’all…
Been to my exercise class and now finish morning routines. I have to get up around 6:15 in order to leave the house by 7:30. That pushes me in the morning because I’m slow going in the morning till after my first cup of coffee.
In my past life when I was a stay at home mom, I was up at 5 for some quiet time to enjoy my coffee. Back then I would iron my dh’s suit pants and reiron his shirt from the laundry before he finished his shower.
Then by using my cards would get most all of my daily cards done by 8. Only exception was on Thursdays when I did my house blessings.
Now that I am retired I no longer need to follow that schedule and am allowed to enjoy and remain in bed till my alarm goes off..
Never got to my office yesterday so after I finish the few little things on my morning routine I’ll will start there.
I have a DAR meeting with my sponsor at 3:30 at our library. Need to gather all my documents before hand. Course they are on my messy desk in my office.
Gonna finish my second cup of coffee first. Already have 5K steps in so I am on my way.
See y’all later

Re: New Year TA DA Tuesday
Good Morning!
Woke up thinking of blessed and others dealing with various stages of hospitalization, just-getting-home, and virus testing for their families and neighbors.
HRH has an appt this a.m. and I'll probably go with. We may shop for a few things afterward.
(cheap) planner/household notebook thoughts:
Following the first year of anything close to consistent success with a planner, I decided yesterday to try to get more onto those pages to help. I made and photocopied a miniature (1.5" x 2.5") chart (using graph cardstock for pattern) suitable for the largest space on my weekly planner pages, cut it out and taped it in. (This particular space already had the words, "WEEKLY FOCUS" above it, appropriately!) The chart has 5 focus spaces down the left side and M,T,W,Th,F,S,S across the top. I wrote in room names for the cleaning week, the declutter week, and then laundry, and plan to think of 2 others that are most needed.
Yes, I know you can just buy stickers of charts, but I'm both cheap and afraid of commitment (smile). I actually photocopied a bunch of the little things and grouped them to create a Master sheet for my household notebook (which is now mostly made up of my Masters in transparent sleeves) so I'll never have to search for it again. Printed the first sheet out in pastel salmon. Will change the color about, to be interesting later, but this is fine for now.
This doesn't take the place of my 3 x 5s but does let me see at a glance how I'm doing generally on homemaking chores, in the same pages I'm planning appts, recording food, etc. I also need to take some time this week to go through the 3 x 5 cardfile and make sure it's up to date.
The only real disappointment in this planner is that this year the ONLY colors are green one month, light green the next, and then gray the next, and repeat. Honestly the gray almost looks like just gray-scale of black-and-white printing, not actually color. Oh well, maybe gray goes with anything and I'll use more color otherwise during those weeks. Over the years, I've accumulated enough colored pens and stickers that I shouldn't need to buy anything if I get a wild creative hair about this.

Re: New Year TA DA Tuesday
just a quick hi -
I was really congested again so I will take another covid test before heading out to see dh.
As we all know, it is very hard to see our loved ones so sick and in confusion or pain. I am sad but trying to imagining that positive instead of what is facing us right now. Dh is bad right now.
I want you all to know I am thinking of you even if I can't read everyones day. Much love to all of you and your family and pray that all is well.

Re: New Year TA DA Tuesday
Good morning!
BWTG to lucylee on her progress yesterday. I’d be impressed with just the 3 loads of laundry — to do that and much more, wow!
We are thinking of you, too, blessed.
Take 2 on introspection today. DH is still home, of course, but he’s working from home, so that should keep him busy. The chicken is cooking away in the crockpot. Since there’s nothing else I can do with it until dinner, it’s just going to have to sit there. Getting it out of the crockpot should be fun — I’m sure it will be entirely falling apart by then.
Going to go up and wake up DD. She got to bed pretty late last night, but she doesn’t want to sleep in too long because she has a deadline on one of her meds. She missed it the other day and had a complete meltdown at dinner. While I’m upstairs, I’m going to look for a book of journaling prompts I used to use.
TTFN!

Re: New Year TA DA Tuesday
It is good to see (((Dee))) and (((Blessedw2))) CI.
It is a typical Tuesday here. I am staying on track with following my plan so far. I don't expect perfection and am thrilled when I can hit 80% or more.
TA-DA's
** 4 routines accomplished
** 3 hourly step goals exceeded
** 2 mini meals done

Thinking of both Dee and bw2 and each dh. Echoing RR for both:
Home from body work and forgot drugstore so I'm running back out. Then I'll walk dog a lap.Hang in there and know we are all sending our love and prayers your way even if you don’t get to be here each day. We are always here for you.
