Does this mean you can't go to the hospital because you've been exposed to his COVID?
Neighbor is stabilized and will be home, complication of covid in the intestinal system perhaps? Blood sugar too high and wouldn't come down?

Dh and I were both up in the middle of the night on our computers, but at different times. We both went back to bed and we finally got up around 10:30. Because dh wanted oranges and grapes, we went to a grocery store near us. Dh also needed gas in his truck. We came back after a stop at Tim Hor tons for coffee for dh. Then we had breakfast and we both realized we forgot to buy eggs. We don't want to drive all the way to our "egg guy" just for 1 dozen. It's cheaper to just get a dozen at the store if that's all we want. It's nice to have free range eggs, but too much of a drive. Someone a lot closer is having problems with her chickens not laying right now.
I've done a load of laundry. I made the base for some strawberry ice cream, but it will be strawberry/blackberry/blueberry because that's what we had in the freezer. (Had to take out frozen berries and let them defrost to mix with the cream and now they are back in the freezer...) I also mopped the floor between the bedroom and the bathroom. Dh doesn't remember having an accident, but the floor tells me something happened over night.
We will be having pork ribs with onions and garlic and BBQ sauce in the slow cooker for supper along with rice and a veg. Probably green peas.
Still overcast here, with something in the forecast that has had the local roads department out spraying the roads with whatever it is they spray. Dh says it's beet juice, but I think it's some sort of brine.
Dishes never stop.

blessed, thank you so much for the update and chance to direct our prayers specifically. In whatever way it may help you to chat around our village here, please do - (((it's a compliment when sharing happens here))). So proud of your dds for all the responsibility they are taking. Hopefully as Covid relaxes its temporary grip things will calm and give you all a perch from which to catch your breaths and plan well for future health.

We had a good afternoon over at their place and a great dinner. Her other grandparents joined us over Skype. And my sister was on FB while her present was being opened.
We left 'early' because the kids were getting really whiny due to over excitement and not feeling well. Both have tummy aches. I should go take my vitamins now with a booster of zinc and C. I forgot to do that when I got in the car.
I think I'll head to bed now.
Tomorrow is a big day as I move us away from LastPass and over to 1Password. After that, which will take about 30 minutes tops, there will be about a 12 hours of changing every password we have. A backup of LastPass vaults for all customers have been stolen and the only thing protecting us at this point is the master password. If that is cracked (not likely but possible), then everything is fully open. LastPass has been economical with the information they are releasing; for instance, the date the vaults were stolen which would help some people know what they need to change. And they have not been stressing that changing one's master password or setting up 2FA is useless because the hacker isn't going to be signing into one's Lastpass vault from their servers. The hacker is using going into a backup so there is nothing, aside from changing every one of the 350 passwords we have in place right now, that can protect us. Worse, I'm not sure whether or not the 100 notes (including things like our passport scans and other personal information can be protected at all since those are not under a separate password that can be changed.
This is all very depressing and exactly why I was unsure about getting a password manager in the first place.
Dh very suddenly decided that we should clear stuff from the hallway. There is a beautiful stained wooden (pine?) shelf that goes almost 10 feet along the upper part of the wall on the left side as you walk towards the back door. The lower part on that side has 8 coat hooks that are all different and they alternate from being almost right under the shelf to being a couple inches lower, so it looks scattered.... any way... there are numerous coats, jackets, hoodies and (in the winter time) scarves at my end. We took stuff off of all 8 hooks and all the shoes and boots (which were all dh's) and tossed 4 pairs of dh's running shoes. There are still 4 other pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots that dh wears when he's doing snow blowing. He also has a pair of crocs that he wears as slippers. The washing machine has a full load of dark coloured hoodies and light weight jackets that dh no longer wears. We are going to offer them to a couple of men in the neighbourhood. Everything is in excellent shape, but too small for dh. Because dh has a wide back and large, muscular arms from 40 years of being a mechanic plus weightlifting he did when he was younger, stuff that should fit, is hard for him to wear because stuff is too tight across the back. So... we did that area. THEN he wanted to go through his closet even though I had done that in the past 2 weeks or so. He added at least 6 tops to the donation pile. I'm so happy that it's done and he initiated the job of doing it.
The stuff for garbage is in the garbage. The donations for the thrift store are already in my car and the washer is singing it's song, so I will hit submit and go flip the laundry and I'm ready to go lay in bed and read.

I am having showers of gratitude for showers of recent financial blessings. This year was my first ever to sign a pledge card for the church (I've been going there for EIGHTEEN YEARS, so somewhat overdue. I have been contributing, I just never committed to it.) The raise I got is a little over the pledge amount. The bonus is a little over DD20's immediate needs. And if that isn't clear enough, the original sign on bonus for this job was a little over what I paid for my camper. Conclusions (1) I am in the right place (2) God wants me to be generous. On that second item - twice last year there were needs brought to my attention in Sunday school that I was uniquely positioned to deal with.
I have sent up prayers for blessedw2 and family.

I think my little things are so insignificant in light of what's going on to several in our little village. Mine is just everyday stuff, things that need to be getting done, are getting done, same old same old. But, acknowledging that, here's what's happening around here.
Church today. We had changed our church laws so that a long-time very wonderful loyal lady could be part of our board. As soon as they talked about changing the name of our church, I thought I should talk with her. Interesting how that became easy to do, as we ended up walking out together. We stood in the parking lot, DH and she and I had a wonderful conversation about it all together. I know this name thing has been bothering DH also and the fact that he was there with us, also a God thing. Sometimes he works it all out for us. Incidentally, our conversation was very helpful to me. She said she would take back to the Board something I mentioned that has been bothering me for a long time. I think she agreed with my viewpoint.
Anyway, I did get groceries on the way home. Stuff to begin cooking again. I have not been able to come up with any ideas of stuff to cook for a long while. I didn't either want to cook the usual things, or I was not hungry for this stuff, and for a while couldn't chew, so not much cooking has been getting done here. I have a cookbook out to go through also.
In the past 2 days I have gone through a kitchen cabinet and organized, and a drawer that I decluttered and organized. At the store I bought a bin to use in that cabinet and really, now the kitchen is pretty organized except for the pantry so I guess that's next.
We didn't put the tree on today. It's time.
I brought in the laundry and folded and put it all away. Only thing from my list not done is I didn't clean out the car. I looked up the weather station, and apparently it's operating like it should be. I will call the number I got and ask the one question that isn't clear, then I'll find a place to put it permanently.
Tonight I planted with surgical precision those bonsai trees. I had a little bit left over and I cut down some Styrofoam cups and planted those seeds too. Crossing my fingers. DH has my spray bottle somewhere so I brought one out from the bathroom and I'm using that to water the surfaces of these cups.
Garbage is out to the curb. I guess that's it today. I hope tomorrow is good for all of us.
Good to hear updates from blessed and Dee. Wish the news were better in both cases, but prayers are going out.
Good, too, to hear from Elizabeth! Glad you are in the right place. I imagine it’s a very good feeling.
Just a leisurely Sunday around here — a little more leisurely than usual because my DM’s nursing home has very strict Covid policies, so it will be a while till I can visit her again. I did go out (negative, symptom-free, and masked) to church and to pick up our usual Sunday night Chinese dinner. The lady at the restaurant asked after DH. (He is usually the one who calls and picks up.)
I will really have to force myself into a routine tomorrow. There’s no way DH can go in. He thought about running in this afternoon to drop things off and pick them up when no one was there, but he just wasn’t feeling up to it. He’s worried because there’s some SAT(? Maybe? Maybe PSAT?) paperwork due on Wednesday. It just occurred to me that one of his colleagues lives the next suburb east of us, and maybe she could drop something off on our doorstep. Anyhow, he’s definitely not going in tomorrow. Hmm… maybe this working from home is encouraging the thing to linger. Maybe I should just confine him to bed and feed him hot toddies. At any rate, we’re very lucky things aren’t worse.
Annnnnnd… maybe he will go in. I suggested he test, and it came back negative. He’s still really cruddy, though. We shall see. I’m going to pack it in now or at least head upstairs. I still have to swish and swipe the bathroom and fill up my pill box for the week.
