Call out and celebrate those ta das today, large and small!
1. Am up and dressed well before 9. (Doing light therapy now.)

2. Ran an errand for a tenant in the other building. So I've been outside today.

3. I checked in with ds since a friend's father died yesterday and this father had been a good friend to ds during his late teens, early 20s. I knew ds was both broken up over the loss of a friend and also worried for the son who is a very good friend and has had a hard life (he moved in with us for a month or so at the end of high school before working things out with his dad.)

I'll have lots of little victories through the day just because there's so much to do and I'm likely to get at least something done!

Ugh. I can't believe it's raining again today! And it's close to 100% chance of rain most the day. Dh took dog out earlier but I suspect he doesn't give her enough time - he said she didn't potty. Or maybe she wanted to get back out of the rain too. I am going to need to walk her in the rain some this a.m. soon.

With the rain pouring down I'm tempted to just sit, which is what I'm doing so far. I was up around 7:15 and it's nine and still sitting here.

I was frustrated yesterday in my deed work - so many of the deeds I was looking at were incomplete, missing more than one call (direction and length of line) and only said something about following unnamed lanes or the line of a neighbor. If it's only missing one, you can work around it because it's got to go back to the beginning somehow, when it misses two it's harder. Of course if I map the entire neighborhood I might work it like a puzzle, but OTOH finding deeds where land was inherited is difficult too. So that was frustrating. And then I'm just jumping around too much.

I need to get garbage and compost out for pick up next. Those are urgent, time sensitive.

No ta das yet for me.

Morning….

Back from class and drinking my coffee.

I have a dreaded appointment with my dermatologist this morning. We shall see what happens

Harriet… you’re worried about just one little spot on your forehead and the other day I had over 14!!! Vaseline is your friend.

There’s a new farmers market near me and depending how the dr’s visit goes I may stop by. Need to bring a hat though and sunscreen for my face.

Posted above late...

Ta das now:
gathered garbage from my desk area upstairs and from kitchen
took garbage to street
pulled out anything in refrigerator that needed to go into compost
put compost out for pick up
cleared breakfast table
started laundry
reported "education" for 2022 for Association of Professional Genealogists

I think I'll throw on clothes and a raincoat and take the dog for a walk, at least a lap. I won't have it hanging over me and she won't be under my steps when I move.

I have a workout at 2 today and the "security active shooter" program at temple tonight at 5:30. I was thinking about going to the library between the two but I think I probably need to come home to walk the ddog. Might ask dh if he can do it between work and bowling.

I was up before the alarm went off and am thankful for a good night's sleep. 6am, 7am, and 8am hourly scheduled tasks are all completed.

On the menu today = Pinto beans & ham, corn bread, fried potatoes. The pinto beans will be simmering on the stove top for several hours this morning. I usually cook them in the instant pot but decided to switch cooking methods to better match the weather.

Since public school is cancelled, we have also cancelled homeschool. DS14 was out the door to work before 8am.

I hope to make some progress today resulting in marking off some items on the OMM list.

hello
d twins it's so sad that we have to have active shooter training now a days.

hello d twins and d Kathryn
hello d rose
hello d lady
hello d everyone.

I am trying to regroup.
the girls can't seem to understand that I had to work all day to get the house somewhat in control just incase dh came home like the hospital forms said.
they also can't understand me trying to be there for dh in case drs. come in so I know what is going. on. I will say what's great is dd younger went in at 7:30 and I can work on moving things in the basement for the freezer coming today from 2:30 to 5:30 . I should have cancelled it. a

I am exhausted.

dh - we are up in the air - they took off that he was coming home today but I am not sure what is going to happen. The drs. are talking to each other to see if and when they can work on his trac and take a sample of the mass/tissue in his chest. In other words we have to plan both ways - his coming home or him having testing done and then him coming home.

I still have to pick up his cloths from the rehab place.
I tried calling them but they never answer.

I wish you all a good day :D :D :D

My hope - move things in the basement so that the freezer can go downstairs
Make the bed upstairs with the new sheets
go to the rehab center after visiting dh
stop by the store. I will get paper plates and paper cups for the time being.

Only do one thing at a time.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I am going to tackle things today. It's a gorgeous sunny day here, and it's giving me energy.

I've been working on the dishes. Clean stuff is all away.

I moved the wet laundry to the dryer this morning and all clean laundry is away.

I cleaned all 3 litter boxes this morning.

Dh took chicken drumsticks out of the freezer, so I guess we are having chicken for supper. He is working on a neighbour's pick up truck this morning. I think it needs brakes. He was out there before I got out of bed 2 hours ago.

All 3 cats are inside because it's minus 5 C here today. That's around 24F.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.
