We've had that as well this winter. We have had some that were properly forecast, and some that hit hard but were missed (right up until the day of the storm), but now everything is a warning of some sort and dh said I should stay home one day because he didn't want me driving in the storm, and I had to ask "what storm?" because nothing had shown up in my feed, because there was only 2" forecast but others had taken that (plus the failures) and turned it into too dangerous to drive.

What's dangerous to drive in right now are the roads in general, there are so many pot holes. Thankfully our local reddit posts warnings about the worst ones you might hit at high speed. Last week, 7 cars were broken down at the side of the highway to dd's and the police were finally fed up that no-one had shown up to repair it so they closed down the lane and parked a police car over it. The same happened today at another bad one. You'd think there would be a better solution than tying up a police officer (or 2 or 3) and a car.

Today has been boring.

Dh slept quite well, I slept OK. He is breathing very loudly, almost gasping for air and breathing rapidly (26 breaths per minute while sleeping). So that keeps me from deeper sleep. I figure it is his very low hemoglobin, with a shortage of red blood cells it takes more breaths to get enough oxygen. But he got several 3+ hour stretches of sleep and wasn't up long in the middle of the night. He managed to get out of the bed on his own to go to the bathroom without waking me. (I was up 2x, the first without waking him, the second, he woke, whispered "I love you" and went back to sleep and didn't remember.)

We rearranged the room and will try a very narrow passage at night to the bathroom in order that I can lie closer to him in our bed (his 'night table' stuff was on the bed, blocking me.) I had set things up so he could reach them but when the bed head is elevated that moved him too far away from things to reach them.

He did his exercises and after my tea I took him to the hospital for a blood draw. That was 80 minutes total (I dropped him off and went and ran errands.) That will be Mondays & Thursdays for the upcoming 3 months, plus his appointments are on other days of the week. Because. Why would things line up well!?!

We got home, he had his 'breakfast' (I made him have a protein drink before the blood draw) and then we had a long nap.

We are making dinner now, late. He is very tired and still needs to get another 6 minute walk in.

Edited to add: I decided to take him for the walk before supper, just up and down our hall. He didn't make two laps (and only 4:20 for time) before having to come back to go to the bathroom. But we tried. He wouldn't slow down even though his pace was too fast. Tomorrow, I'll use the treadmill because that will force him to slow down. I tried telling him to slow down and he didn't. So I walked slower and he just walked ahead. So treadmill it is when we can't get outside. (The thought of putting on his socks and hiking boots was overwhelming.)

This is a big 2-car garage (with no cars). A lot of space had been taken up (and quite a bit still is) by screen printing stuff. Dsonil never wanted to sell it because -you know -might use it again. When? It's been years since it was used at all. Last was some shirts they printed for DS-R when he was running for highway Super and that was probably 3 years ago. Before that they only did stuff for our boys and nothing for making a living. There's an alcove at the back of the garage too, so there's lots of room in there. In their defense a lot of stuff came from his Mom's when she passed away but that's been 3 or 4 years now. Know there's a good-sized cedar chest out there and dd keeps putting stuff in it that's supposed to go to his Dsister's who now lives in AL. DD would love to be able to put her car in there.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Late CI and I’m posting on the phone. I just realized I haven’t been here since Tuesday! Nothing is wrong— I promise I am not depressed— I’m actually in a pretty good mood right now. Problem is that dh keeps the computer tied up all the time! Braves baseball, college baseball AND softball! And it’s hard to keep up and post on the phone.

At any rate, dh did miss most of Auburn’s basketball game tonight, just so Dgd would know he came to see her be a sheep in the first grade class play. She didn’t have any speaking part but she sure was a cute sheep.

This afternoon, dh and DS joined some other men and sang at the nursing home in town.

AND I have not seen nor heard from dbro. I am a little aggravated but, what you gonna do?
I keep saying this makes 6 days he has spent with dmom in the past year, but actually, it is, I think, 6 days in THREE years. I don’t think he came home at all from the time Covid started until last April. I need to check my Christmas posts and see if I mentioned anything.
I just don’t understand his thinking on this. But I can’t really say anything about it to him without sounding really bossy and petty. So — if he can live without seeing his family more than this, I guess we can live without it.
Tomorrow is another day.

I am SO excited! I went for a walk up to the corner to get the rest of my steps in and saw 2 deer and got the film of them yea!
Then on the way back noticed looks like the neighbors with home for sale look like they are setting up for a yard sale.
 I was working on organizing and clearing out some things in the shed so I am thinking I could put some free stuff out when they do a sale!
Got the last load of laundry in the dryer now.
Got sets / backgrounds up and tried them out this evening too.
I am under 10 vids. away from doing my first 100 shorts learning a lot and enjoying the filming.
