I don't think I slept but I guess relaxing horizontally was worthwhile. My mind is still pinging on about things.

I need to regroup here. I'm afraid to say I'll work for 45 min. because the fence person should be here within forty-five min. I'm afraid to name five things, or three, because if the fence person gets here I drop everything.

Ugh. This has been sitting here at least forty minutes.

I called about the invisible fence person just after four and the customer service person checked with the technician and he had 4-6 today on his schedule. So there was a mix up because I originally scheduled 4-6 then got a text that it had to be changed to 2-4. I came upstairs and am charging Fitbit and will take charger down to complete charging.

While up here I got Evernote working again. I use it on two computers, upstairs and downstairs. I scanned some things and saved to Evernote a couple of days ago and found they were weren't on the upstairs version of Evernote. So that's done.

There are signs of life around here.
Progress.
I washed the dishes that were in the sink — a bunch of drinking cups and medicine cups. Also swept the kitchen floor and started a load of laundry.
Tomorrow is another day.

Ugh. Instead of the 4 hours that I estimated it would take, it took almost 7 hours for the a/c. And it isn't even fixed! That was just to diagnosis what is wrong. I have an appt next Monday for them to do the compressor & line replacement. They said it would take all day for that. I don't like giving so much time/effort/money for vehicle a/c but my options are to either fix it or buy a different vehicle. I would choose to buy another vehicle if what I want was available. I talked to the dealership about that today and they said the vehicles are already sold before they ever arrive on their lot.

I called as I left the city and picked up a double order of bacon, chicken, ranch, cheesy bread on my way home. I'm not cooking tonight.

LadyM, what in the world took so long to even diagnose it? SO frustrating!

Invisible fence guy came and went. Apparently fence was working the whole time and ddog just went for an adventure across the fence? Dh and I both carried the collar out and weren't getting any charge or sound from the collar so I don't know if we were holding it too high from the ground or what. Anyway, I just spend awhile outside with her and she just piddled around in the yard trying to catch carpenter bees.

I've boiled eggs and have them cooling, and am putting DR back together little by little. I finally decided that it's not likely I'll wash all the china and crystal before I put it away.

I'm excited about dd being here. I hope we can all keep it together!

Today was plant nursery day for me. I bought a wagon (low pull-cart) full. I think 7 of medium-size and 21 of small pots.

Definitely got overheated at the nursery. It was hot and sunny and I stayed too long in it from noon to 1:30. Then back at home, I had to unload of course. So that was a lot.

Then off to take care of the boys while dd was on a half-day away. When the live lesson was over, I agreed to watch the new-ish Puss and Boots. It was okay for the youngest, but only because things went over his head (death concepts and an actual killing that was too vague for him to catch on).

Back home from voting. I was #93 person who voted out of the 800 registered voters in our town. I find it frustrating for the lack of attention given to this particularly important right.

On the way home a lifelong friend was out in her yard so I stopped and chatted. I am not exactly sure how these things happen but I'm going to buy her mother's dining room set. This is a high quality old fashion heavy type double pedestal dining table with big carved chairs similar to this picture. It is in excellent shape. DFriend said because it is so big, none of her kids/grandkids wants the old fashion furniture. I do!! I will be doing some furniture shuffling and giving one of our dining table/chairs sets away.

LadyM, that's a beautiful set, would look nice if the area is big enough. If I had it to do over I would have a dining set that was not so heavy, my chairs are a little hard to move around.

Our car a/c is getting worse and worse. DH determined the whole new system the a/c guy recommended was more $ than the car is worth and refused to get it. He just charges it now and then. This last charge only lasted a couple weeks. If I thought DH wouldn't be unreasonably angry I would take the car over to the a/c place and tell him fix it. It is only about 6 blocks from home, last time I went there I just walked back to pick it up. I do agree about the expense, but the car keeps running and running, so if we'd fixed it the last time he said to do it, we'd have enjoyed it this whole time.

I had to take DH down to pick up the new radiator. This one looked better than the last one they tried to sell us. Then I took it over to the place his truck is sitting and we loaded it in the truck. We looked for tools and other things he needed to fix it; at one point he had to crawl underneath to get a bolt off but it was rusted on. So we stopped at WM and got the spray stuff that helps with that, but it was a long walk through the store and we bought whatever they had to work... I have suggested he get this truck hauled to someone to fix but he's not interested in doing that. We don't know anyone who can help him either. I don't know how all this is going to end.

Right now he has his side of the computer messed up...can't get into his email...can't remember his password (can never remember them and relies on the computer to remember and save) and I tried but couldn't help him. He is so frustrated.

No getting anything done around here with all this happening. I did get the plants watered and kitchen cleaned up. Never did have dinner, just picked at this and that. It's not like I needed a big dinner, I've been stress eating and it shows.

Maybe tomorrow will be better. I sure need a turnaround. It can hardly get any worse. I'm sort of dreading the ride up to DGS on Easter. It's on my mind a lot.
