I’ve been told that if it is shingles, it will definitely stay on one side of your body, LadyM. That would be one clear sign if it is or isn’t.
I have also heard of people having shingles after being vaccinated, but maybe it will help keep it mild for you!

I’ve been to Walmart and put away the groceries but my stomach is a mess and I am taking a break.
Tomorrow is another day.

Supper has been BBQd and eaten. Sweet potato and asparagus for dh plus some beets and a bean salad AND the first local corn on the cob and beef ribs.

We had one heck of a thunderstorm followed by blue skies and sunshine.

There is one more load of laundry to do.

I'm upstairs at orientation. I made myself an omelet and some fruit for my own supper. My breakfast was carbs - bagel, lox, cream cheese and some fruit. I had a healthy salad for my lunch.

OMG, they're trying to to play a genealogy bingo game and so many who can't get it figured out. :o  Waste of time, lol.

LadyM, if it does turn out to be shingles, LLysine is supposed to be a good supplement to take for that. I hope it's not, though. Maybe just a bad case of prickly heat?

RRose, don't channel me for energy! I slept 3 hours today, all afternoon. Yes, I relaxed! Both of us pretty worn out today after this week we had.

I was up early and picked up my friend for church. We are getting used to each other more I think. I did talk with a friend, who is in charge of our medical team for the congregation. He has some medical experience and I gave him a head's up about the woman with me. He asked some good questions and since it is so hot outside, he went and got a cold water bottle for her. She did drink some of it. She does appear to do ok coming out to church with me. I don't know how long this will last before she's unable to come...and maybe she'll move to a place closer to a few of her relatives. I hope she is able to get herself moved before her health fails and she's unable to have control over her life. That will happen at some point, but we just don't know when. She does try hard not to be a bother to me.

I got all the rubbish out and the recycling for tomorrow's pickup. We ate up a bunch of leftovers from the fridge so I could clean out the containers. Tonight I just loaded the dishwasher to make it easier. I need a break once in a while. When I went out with the bags to throw away I noticed DH had left his truck door open and I checked and half the groceries he bought on the way home were still in there. I think he was having a bad day today. I asked him about his hearing aids and he said he didn't remember, maybe he took them out to recharge. I don't remember seeing them at church either. This week he was very confused all week about what day it was. He likes me to pick out a nice shirt for him to wear to church and when I got it out last evening he was surprised that it was Saturday night. Sigh....

We're having a light rain right now. Last evening we had gobs of lightning and some rain. I'm happy we're getting some moisture.

The young man brought takeout. He will use our tech here to view a 20-minute live presentation on which a friend wants his opinion, and this way dd24 can watch and comment, too.

Then they will do some wedding planning. HRH and I are staying out of the way, but glad we can provide a place for them to spread things out and contemplate.

Last evening prayer service was calm and didn't take as long as usual. Got several recommendations for books, etc. One of the books will be the subject of their next weekly book discussion one night a week. I doubt if I can give that time, though. Church service this morning was lovely, very moving.

Ramblin', so sorry you had to go through drama.

If I ever change my user name, I think I will call myself Midnight Mary.
Since 9:30 pm, I have
— washed dishes & put them away
— swept the kitchen
— taken allergy shots
— washed sheets
And I am now waiting for the sheets to dry so ** hopefully ** I can get them on the bed again before midnight!
Tomorrow is another day.
