LM both of my grand daughters took running start classes that gave them collage credits while in high school.
That may have a diff. name now however as it's been a few years.

I slept in till six ish today.
Got my qt stuff done and walked ddog
trash is dumped made bed.
Done to here.

Cooler today for us and flash flood warnings with rain in our forecast.

I've been sidetracked several ways. I'm scanning and clearing some documents off our printer. I've reviewed our Rosh Hashana list We have 37 adults on the list and four children of different ages. Several of those have not come Rosh Hashana is a little more than a month away on Saturday 16 September. My best guess is that we would end up with a little more than thirty but it's hard to know. Last year I think we had 22 in the house, and we were aiming for 20. I know that dh is going to come along in the next month and suggest "What about so and so??????"

Clouds are building outside so I'm going on to the post office next. When I get back I'll be setting a timer to work on weekly blessing, starting with the kitchen. The second priority is bathrooms, and after that dusting the MBR. It get soooooo dusty with the dog spending so much time in there.

I had my second meal (bean/meat/veg burrito) and have finished setting up DS15 replacement phone. Now that project is on pause until DS15 gets home for lunch so I can remove the sim card from the old note5 phone he is using and put it into the replacement phone. #AlmostDone

It is back to homeschool class planning.

Home again. I start home blessing at :45 before the hr if anyone wants to go with me. I have my first two alarms set to go.

We have a severe thunderstorm watch now until two. Two miles north at the post office it felt like the storm was coming in right there, not so much here at home. Schools cancelled the rest of the day, too. Classroom days haven't started yet but teachers were in classrooms and there were some sports activities and they have year around child care.

LadyM, glad you have the curriculum pulled together. School starts here on Wednesday also.

oh my goodness - I did ask a lot d lady - sorry about that - I find it so interesting!!! glad your books came in! I can't imagine following the plan is easy! You are a smart woman, a wonderful teacher and a great mom d lady!
I had no idea that I could do classes online for free! I would love it!

d rose I love bocci ball - we called it boule. I have seen that Florida has had some malaria and leprosy recently. too scary. praying that it doesn't spread.

I ate too much for lunch. I knew it but didn't stop.

I am going to head outside to finish the Monday chores.

I have planned lessons for the first 2 weeks of school and have individual assignments on DS15 calendar. The calendar entries have lesson plan, page # in workbook, and links to the online lessons. I am going to stop now. We will see what works and what needs to be changed. I learned (the hard way) not to plan too far in advance before we confirm it is the right curriculum.

We have two medical appt in the city this afternoon. Unfortunately, we can't combine them into one trip so we will be making two trips.
** DH has Spirometry test @2
** DD12 has a meeting with her counselor @5:30. I have notes made of concerns that I would like to be discussed. DD12 and I have discussed them without a solution. Hopefully the counselor can give some insight. It has been my experience that the counselor will side with DD12 unless it is a life endangering issue. I am okay with that. In case you are interested these are the issues to discuss....
(1) DD12 doesn't want to shave her underarm and lower legs. Should there be there a limit on how much long black hair is dangling? How to handle the mean comments DD12 will hear from peers?
(2) DD12 is sometimes reluctant to attend church. This only occurs when DD12 spends Saturday night with DD46 and is brought home in time to go to church. Is DD12 reluctant to attend church tied with DD46 not keeping her longer? Does DD12 think attending church keeps her from staying longer with DD46? We don't set any limits on how long DD12 can stay with DD46. DD46 uses church attendance as way of limiting the amount of time that DD12 stays with her....but I don't want to say that to DD12 even though it is true.

I have focused on the dining room table and got the other table cloth on it that always helps to freshen up the look.
Next I have a few things to shuttle to the other room until I can sort them.
Bit by bit we can do this! Yea!

Kitchen spiff happened yea!
Fetched & processed mail.
Swiffered the bathroom floors.

After lunch ci
Watered some & closed up plant cage doors as it got windy & we got 15 drops of rain.
Clipped some nails on ddog's front paws.
Sinks are clean now.
Got more stuff put away from various rooms.

I have dusted the corners by floor boards in my bedroom.

bw2, I'm coming back through, have a few minutes here to catch up! It's amazing what 45 minutes will do once I get down to it, lol.

We had storm move through altho we didn't get a direct hit - we had some rain and power blinked off and on a few times.

I checked the Quickbooks register and saw A did checks on 1 August, since she usually does them every other week, this is the skip week. Like Kathryn (where is Kathryn today???) I need to think through some space needs. I have a box of files for HOA and they're mostly legal size. I think the annual file of paid bills can be sized down to letter size. I mostly need to store the older files. But given the volume of checks, I'm not sure working at the kitchen counter, as I do for everything except genealogy or crafting.

No one here since I checked in last? This is my second 15 minute break. I'll work another 45 min. I shifted to our bathroom to be sure I got it done, especially the toilet.

I think our storms have moved through for the moment, altho could be more later. Tornado watch doesn't end until 7 but the sun is back out. It's fifteen degrees cooler than earlier, apparently.

Our supper is grilled chicken, spinach and leftover squash casserole. I buy baby spinach for my omelets but this container seems to be going bad quickly so it's better to use most of it now. I'm not a fan of just wilted cooked spinach but dh loves it.

This next round my focus is finishing our bath, as much as I'm doing, the powder room, and dusting MBR.

hello again - I though I would have been in the house already but the patio watering, fertilizing, patio cleaning has taken much longer than I expected!

I still need to use the rake and then the blower to get rid of all the clippings etc.

hello d Lady - well done on working on ds 15's calendar! Praying the counselor can help dd 12 with wisdom!
My mother was 15/16 when she moved here from France. She didn't know about shaving at all until another student told her that what you do.
sounds like your dd may not realize that this is the norm - She will get hurt bc she is taking a stand on not shaving. She has to figure it out.
It sounds like it could be tied to your dd46. is there a different time that you all could go or a special time for you and your dd 12. I have a feeling your dd 12 knows that your dd46 is doing this. kids are smart. She may be tying church with this hurt that she may feel with your dd 46 limiting the time with her. it's hurtful.
Praying your dd 12 starts seeing church as a wonderful time with you.
