LOL !!!

Okay, what I think is happening this morning is that two of the Great Minds around here were thinking alike AND after posting together the two of them also deleted together, because - of course they did.

Anyway, here above is the post of the lesser and later, back again.

TaDas
I've been working on Morning Dailies. Kitchen Spif.

Kitty potty spif is done well.

Does it count that I couldn't sleep for part of the night and spent that making schedules and plans in my head. Brain wouldn't quit, lol. Is that a TaDa at all or just a fail at sleeping? Hmmm...

ToDos
Chore today in addition to Dailies is Mud Room and the resulting recyclable/trash "outahere" that needs to happen today.

Specific sewing plan today.

Waiting on a Dreaded Phone Call that I had expected yesterday, but no call-back yet.

Hi!

Dh has gone to get his hair cut. The guy that does our weed whacking is here. It's a glorious day, with no wind and no clouds and lots of sun. According to the weather people,, temps could get close to 80. I think it got up close to 80 yesterday.

Not much to do here today. I will be going to Costco later to pick up 2 prescriptions for dh, plus 2 cases of depends. I need russet potatoes for next Monday, which is Canadian Thanksgiving. I also need to pick up 1 pumpkin pie. Someone told me that she freezes most of the pie as soon as she gets it, so she can enjoy pumpkin pie for Christmas and whenever else she feels like it. Sounds good to me.

Supper tonight will NOT be a Costco chicken. I asked dh and he said he didn't want it. Right now, I'm thinking BBQ steak and baked potatoes to go along with this fabulous weather.

UGH. I'm getting a slow start today and failed to get the garbage can out in time. Somehow I just couldn't wake up. Dh came through and took a quick shower - he worked out at seven this a.m.

I'm working out at two as usual for Tuesdays, and dh is out this evening bowling. We have leftover grilled chicken and chili so no one will starve here.

I gotta get going, dog needs walking and she's makin' me crazy.

LOL, Harriet. Great Minds, lol again.

Good morning!

I am off my game yesterday and today. I'm just focusing on making it through the must-do's and trying to not let everything else weigh me down. Last Friday and Saturday DH said he had no energy, so I encouraged him to take a 24–48-hour break from everything. Now I'm experiencing the no energy. I am wondering if it a virus/bug? I do have some sore places that have popped up on the inside of my mouth. Whatever.....hopefully it will soon be gone and I can return to my normal full energy.

PODA -
7:30 - DD12 to school
Homeschool
9:30 - DH, DS15 and myself to gym
1:30 - DS15 to work
3:30 - DD12 from school

I'm off today too, LadyM.

I finished walking the ddog three laps, about a mile. I took my time on the last lap, the big construction equipment came in to work on a washed out ravine behind the development, that is the HOA responsibility. The contact person has said since last summer that the work was imminent. I took some photos for the HOA Facebook page. Seriously big truck hauling a seriously big piece of equipment. Anyway, an interesting distraction.

I need to get on with a.m. routine.

I’m slowing moving today but I can blame it on my headaches.

I had a bunch of errands I wanted to do, but will put them off till either tomorrow or Thursday because I just scheduled a hair cut for this afternoon.

I have my migraine dr’s appointment tomorrow and may get an injection to pause my migraines. Not sure I’m going to do it because I do t have much information about it and it’s side effects. I think I like this offices as the associate I worked with last time offered my oxygen as we were walking out the office/ oxygen has very positive effects with migraines. However on my cluster headache fb page many can not get their drs to prescribe it. This is a world wide group. I didn’t even ask about will talking to PA because of others getting such negative reactions from their dr. So I was quite surprised and impressed when the PA just causally mentioned it. I like the idea because it’s a natural approach to pain and I’m not really big on medicines when I don’t need it

As I’ve said before my migraines are seasonal and preventive meds must be taken year round. I don’t like using meds if I don’t need it so I am looking forward to finding different alternatives for my headaches.

I completed all my needed computer work yesterday and today I want to work on getting my DAR application completed. I am waiting to get my moms parents death certificates. NJ sent my parents death certificate to the wrong person, and thankfully they took the time to mail them to me.

Wow, Twins! I hope your house doesn't someday fall into the ravine. We don't have anything like that here. We're all too flat everywhere. However, up north of us, more in the Tampa area, there are sink holes. One minute your house is there, the next it's falling into the earth. Awful stuff. Our insurance doesn't cover sinkholes.

Up early again. This is getting to be a habit. I took DH to his dentist. He's getting the root planing / scaling done. They did one side of his mouth. Next week he goes for the other half. When he came out he said it went ok, but said, Man, I never had anything like that done to me. Of course not! I left all his teeth decisions up to him. When I took charge...NOW his teeth are getting fixed.

While I sat in the waiting room I answered my cousin's letter and was able to mail it when we got home.

Thinking about what to do today. Have no plan / agenda. I have an awful lot of papers on my desk...maybe I should tackle that. Nothing has to get done now, but it's looking messy. Since it's October I could check the new drug programs and try to make those decisions.

RRose, I watched a video yesterday about electrolytes. Dr. said if you're low in magnesium that can cause migraines. I suppose you've checked on that?

A refrigerator without ready-to-eat (leftovers) food is rare in our home but it happens. There is plenty of frozen or canned foods available, but the family is used to having homemade food to choose from every time they open the refrigerator doors. I spent some time in the kitchen, so the poor darlings wouldn't starve. Now there is spaghetti & meat sauce, steak, mashed and roasted potatoes ready to eat.

Homeschool lessons have been completed. We made a group decision to not go to the gym.
