I spent another day basically doing nothing again. Just NO energy whatsoever.
When I tried to get out of going to church tonight, dh made me feel bad about it so I got up, did my makeup, and stripped the bed and put the sheets in the washer. We’re on our way to church now. I do feel a little better and I guess tomorrow I will just start the day by “acting as if” I have energy and enthusiasm. Fake it till I make it.
Tomorrow is another day.

I am pleased with my progress today yea for that.
Weather is perfectly awesome so I just sat in the sun for a while to enjoy it.
Then I came in and did most of the chapter in my prayer workbook I am currently doing.

My inboxes are as empty as I can leave them. A lot of miscellaneous stuff dealt with. I shouldn't let it pile up that long. I worked on a stuffed folder that I can't fit any more in tonight. I've pared that down to 8 pages with a lot of space to fill in stuff, should be good to use for at least a few years this way. I filled up a whole wire basket just with random papers. This stuff has been omm for a while. Now I can ignore it for a while. I kept up with the rest of the stuff around here; I hung up that LOL, made dinner, helped DH with the copier, cleaned up all the dishes. It doesn't sound like much but I only took one break all day.

LadyM, I hope you haven't gotten any hail.

I'm so glad I got up and went to church. Not that church was so amazing or anything; it was just good for me to get out of myself and DO something.
I've been in a really foul mood since Sunday. It's all about something that really has NOTHING to do with my life AT ALL... a former student/family friend who lives on the other side of the country, posting something on FB that upset me... but I will not see this person once in five years probably, she is not asking for my input or advice, how she wants to live her life should be nothing to me... but it just disappointed me and put me in a really bad mood.

Add my mental state to the fact that I truly am struggling with a lot of allergy symptoms and crud, and it has been really easy to just lie down in bed and sleep.

But I am pulling myself out of this NOW and moving on. As a character on a tv program said last night, "If you can't do anything about it, why worry about it?"

I've still got to get sheets back on the bed, and I've got the final load of laundry started. Also got into email and did a fund-raiser thing for dgd. I ordered Highlights magazine for her. To be delivered at our house, so maybe she and I can do some of it together. Things get kinda chaotic at their house sometimes.

OH! DGS called us this morning, as soon as he got on the bus to go on the beach trip. He is SOOO excited. I've seen FB pictures from his class tonight. He looks like he is having a BALL. I am so glad he is having this experience. They will be home Friday night, so it's not a HUGE trip, but as I said the other day, for a child who started school having a meltdown when it was time to put the puzzles away and go to PE, he has come such a long way.

WTG on sorting paperwork, Harmony! Sending good wishes to Twins for book-keeping/computer troubles!

Sounds like a beautiful day for you, Nancy! * Hope things are safe at LadyM's tonight, re: weather!

What is going on with Kathryn? Also hoping Bookie can re-join us soon!

Harriet, your cake sounds delicious. My dmom makes a great orange cake that is almost like orange-nut-bread. You just reminded me of it, and this might be a good substitute for ds's birthday cake. He doesn't like icing, so birthday cake is always a big waste for him. He will be FORTY in 2 1/2 weeks!

Cathy, we had hot dogs at church for supper.

I must consider hourly work-reward system for myself, LadyM. I really need a little more discipline and structure in my day.

Waving to ALL!

UPDATE: 3 1/2 hours later:
Clean sheets on bed
All laundry is clean
I exercised 15 minutes
Tomorrow is another day.
