Great idea, Harriet, for Harmony to try to take dh’s appt!
And (((Harmony))) — you sound like I felt with shingles. (NOT suggesting that’s what you’ve got, just saying itching is exhausting!) I just wanted to take enough Benadryl to knock me out and sleep till it went away!
So glad to hear surgery went well and ds s headed toward better days, Harriet. (((Hugs))) and prayers for good rest tonight for all of you!
(((Cathy))) ooohhh that sounds painful.
LadyM, I know you’ve been through all this
before and you’ll survive ds15 beautifully!
Well, I never got to the WHB part of my day, but y’all, look:
— typed church notes and emailed to people concerned
— cleared top of my printer of ALL the junk that has literally been there at least six months, some for longer…
—— made copies for dmom and myself of various papers
—— retyped/updated dmom’s meds and surgical history
—— typed dh’s meds
—— finally set up an account in Teladoc (which I will probably never use, but the card had been there so long, I really thought it had expired.)
—— separated papers that need to go back to dmom for filing
ANTI-PROCRASTINATION DAY CONQUERED!!!
And when I finished all that, played a board game with dgs while dh and ds made video recordings of some of dh’s old football films. We also played one inning of balloon ball, which was like baseball except with a balloon and a drink bottle for a bat. (??? It was his idea.)
Looked at some old stuff of ds’ in the closet with him
* and FINALLY threw away the old Stretch Monster, from the Stretch Armstrong toys of the 80s. Stretch belonged to dbro, who passed him on to ds. One Christmas, we discovered Stretch had burst in the closet and dripped his innards on a lot of stuff there. I put him in plastic Wmart bags, planning to show his remains to dbro… but it’s been YEARS and his corpse is still here. He will go to the trash Sunday, but he is in the garbage can now.
AND I walked (indoors) 15 minutes!
