I've walked the dog, need to be at body work in an hour, so I'm getting into the shower. I also need to eat something!

Re: Just Wednesday PWYC
Potentially difficult meeting with the new Pastor today. Spent time this morning reflecting on scriptures and prepping my brain and heart for the meeting. One of the 3 of us can't attend today and sent a detailed email of issues she wants raised. It was all brain. That's why I decided to focus on the spiritual stuff. We aren't a business and our hierarchy is not the same so coming to the meeting with that attitude isn't what is required.
Next up, get dressed.
Next up, get dressed.

good morning!
d Kathryn, praying that the meeting with the new pastor goes smoothly as he is trying to have the parish he imagines spiritually and respecting the congregations needs/wants. May there a happy outcome! enjoy your day!
hi d twins yay on walking the dog - enjoy your day!
Let's do it. My body and brain is not up to speed yet.
I have to get dressed - breath in - drive to mom's and have my mom take her meds and feed her breakfast - probably take her to her favorite bakery. I want to work at home in the yard - I am drained bc my ADHD needs routines. (I also think 10 weeks of being in a wheelchair made my physical fitness go down hill and now I am trying to build up to feeling healthy again).
yesterday, dd cleaned the whole kitchen which was a tip. dh finally helped
with some but dd young did the whole things. dd said she had to ask for help and he did some things.
I was out with mom most of the day - she even had her nails done - she at first said no but went then said no inside the venue but the lady was lovely and took mom under her wing and mom was amazing- yay it's done!!!!
so today I hope I can work outside and finish the bathrooms.
I will have to say no to things.
Mom can't be by herself during the day as she then is forgetful and depressed. With us she is great. We take her home at 10 pm and then she has her meds, gets dressed and falls asleep first in her chair and then goes to bed.
dh has decided he wants to drive my car instead of his and is annoyed that we want to use my car. his car is so clean and no scratches but dd needs a car, I am using my mom's car when she is with me - as she can't drive anymore. I told him at the beginning of this all that my car is just a car to me - it's meant to be used for everything. Lol I think he took it literally and now has taken over my car. I let him use my car when it rains and snows but now he is taking it over in nice weather as well

Re: Just Wednesday PWYC
Blessed with 2 I have been there with the car thing when we got a retirement rig the truck was very nice too nice for the job site
and lh comendered my rig the jeep for his daily driver, & was to leave the truck in carport "saving" it for retirement. So he had drove it less than 1,000 mi. when he passed. I had to negotiate for a day with my jeep rig, and he took the truck to work and washed it that day & I did my shopping and errands. LOL! Now I alternate them asking myself what rig I used last, is it jeep day or truck day! LOL!
I now have put more miles on MY truck than he ever did.
Today I was up around six and it was just getting lite out did my qt in the liv room so I could watch sunrise.
I got meatloaf stuff squash cooking on the deck in the crock pot, made a vid for Nov. of that.
Writer Wed.
Prayed for the staff meeting K in C has and their church community. [For unity and servants hearts for them. ]
Seems like it is a learning curve time with scheduling calendar and weekly plans getting worked out.
I am glad to have a plan written down and have some iris to move random numbers to get some moved back next to the house that
I took out before the roof was put on last summer. Done! YEA!
Dd has lites she wants to put up on the deck and arbor but it is and issue with the two sets
of steps so she has a plan & I have a plan but they are different so will see how we to that. LOL! Meeting of the minds.
Vac. the other two bedrooms is done!
AntiP. task done hand wash a sweater. Done.
Two other mystery tasks as well. Bathrooms Done!
Lunch is done. Had mine.
When crock pot cools off I need to move it and the other parts to freeze up for meals ahead. Done.
Got my steps in for today now walked ddoggo around the loop it's nearly 2:00.
Winding down for afternoon rest break.

Re: Just Wednesday PWYC
Fall break for me lasted 5 days before I grew tired of it. Yesterday I decided being without any structure was no longer giving me the results I wanted. At first it felt freeing and fun because it was a change from my normal structure schedule. But it created a void of free time that was being filled with things that didn't bring me joy. I don't know if I am explaining this correctly, but I just know I didn't want to do it anymore.
I am not going to jump right back into my structured schedule (no need for it since we aren't doing school this week). This morning I was naturally up at my normal time (without an alarm) and I am getting back into my hourly steps (again without using a reminder alarm). It feels good to continually choose a goal for that hour and accomplish it. Do I mess up? Absolutely, but because it is a fresh start each hour there is a new opportunity to be successful. I don't know how long setting hourly goals will work for me, but I am just going with it because it makes me feel good.

Re: Just Wednesday PWYC
Home from body work and slightly more flexible, I hope. He's working on the achy hip and its effects on the rest of the body.
Ddog is enjoying sunshine outside. I'm going to have an iced coffee and finish up a.m. routine, then adjourn upstairs.
Our supper is grilled chicken, roasted sweet potato and some kind of green veggie. I think I have green beans or things for a salad, so I can choose later.

Re: Just Wednesday PWYC
hello again - home again
d mom is cutting up boxes - dd knows her pretty well and gave her that job.
Took mom to ambrosias (and got snapped at a couple times
she had a nice breakfast of creme brûlée and an eclair - I was not going to argue.
she ate a salad at my house
dh said it was good he took his car even though he was afraid to start using it again.
thank you d Nancy for sharing that story about your sweet dh! you made me lol with you deciding if it's a truck day or a jeep day
thank you for the smile!!!!
yay on your work!!!
hi d twins yay on being more flexible after some nice body work outside of the house!
enjoy your day
hi d lady! I am glad you had a few days just to be you! oh a fresh start - wonderful!
I got stuck for a bit - I Brought mom home here as she does nothing at her house. I have to get used to giving her jobs to do. She can't stay at her house by herself as she sleeps and gets confused if alone too much. Mom's feistiness sometimes is hard for me...confrontation, snapping or angry eyes (as they say it) is uncomfortable for me; dh. once it's done it's done for d mom, dh, d brother. Still it's hard for me.
dd younger is straightforward with her and it works for d mom.
time to refocus!~ card file pulled

Hi!
I went out for lunch with a friend. She likes shopping more than I do. I did score with numerous bamboo knitting needles in their packages at Salvation Army. If I decide I don't like them, I know a lot of knitters to offer them to.
We had lamb shanks for lunch, so I don't plan on eating supper with dh. He is planning on going for a burger.
Last knitting class tonight.
