DGS26 and a friend surprised me by attending church this morning. I was working in the nursery and when I turned around DGS26 was standing there waiting for me to notice him! I think this is the first time DGS26 has been to this church, so it has been at least 3 years since we been in church together. Before covid DGS26 used to attend church with me almost weekly. This morning I tried making a video to capture what it is like to have two tall grandchildren standing on both sides of me. DS15 is 6'3' and he looks short when standing next to DGS26. I am 5'7" and the top of my head only comes to their shoulders. Anyway....regardless of our size difference it was a treasured memory to attend church together.

After church we all went out to eat together.

I am not a fan of cold weather. My body will eventually get used to it but currently I DO NOT enjoy having to go outside even for the minute it takes to walk between building & vehicle. drama much? Oh yea!

I finished brushing my leaf headband-crown with diluted Elmer's, so now it's front and back coated, in case that helps keep it colorful.

I put the method I came up with for making a costume crown/headband in A, C and N thread in case it would help anyone. I wish I'd thought of it for school and church plays.

Dd25 is going to the grocery, and I'll text her with some items - that helps.

short-lived chance to b here. Dstepson arrived with dd43, so they must be getting stuff done and we're on their list somehow. Gotta run.
Sort of will be glad when they are working tomorrow, since I need some private time to mess up these treat experiments all by myself. :D

I got my garbage bin out and then untangled the hose and watered the 2 big planters, my flower garden and most of the foundation bushes. Around the back I got the transplanted bushes there but they are not looking good. I watered the poor vegetable garden which has an abundance of sweet potato vines and a few green peppers still growing on their 2 plants.

Earlier this afternoon I got into the email and had quite the time dealing with all those emails. We got at least 2 every day for the past week and 1/2 but only one of the numbers for each of us was the active number now. I kept trying numbers until finally I got one to work under DH's name and I filled out his application, printed it out and then the confirmation pages. Then I tried to find mine and kept putting in numbers until one worked and I filled out that application and submitted, printed that out. In MY email I found the confirmation page and printed that too. Phew! I can't imagine how people are managing this stuff. Some people let their emails stack up and hardly ever delete them. Apparently they kept sending an application number every day until the work got sent back in. And the names were not in the title, so I didn't know which ones to open! What a mess! So glad to have that done. We should be getting an acceptance in a few days, then a few things in the mail. But for now I can quit thinking about it.

Tomorrow I have that dr. appointment (well, seeing the nurse) and I'm taking DH with me so he can see where the office is. He has to go there Friday while I'm busy and can't go with him, so he's going along to show him. Our Garmen directs us to the wrong place, so that isn't helpful. I will show him and hope he can remember when he goes Friday. I told him if he goes along we can stop on the way back for breakfast somewhere. Not that we need those kinds of calories, but something fun to do together. Early start tomorrow, so I hope I can sleep early tonight.

Wondering where Elizabeth has been.

I’m kinda “spinning” tonight… I’ll put this in J&C.
Tomorrow is another day.
