After cooking in 400F oven for 2 hours the cheese wasnt melted, and the lasagna was only 109f inside. Obviously, my oven is not heating properly. It does work....then it doesn't. I use the air fryer countertop oven so much that I forget the stove/oven needs to be replaced. I might be able to get the oven fixed but I have not liked that stove since we moved into this house 8 years ago. I just need to stop procrastinating and looking for the perfect stove/oven and pick one. ANYWAY, I put the pan of lasagna into the air fryer and finished cooking it which also included burning the cheese topping.
Bonus - I didn't set the smoke alarm off.
Double Bonus - the family is so hungry they think the burnt lasagna is good.

I am feeling accomplished. I finally found the perfect size plastic tote for inside the 3rd rabbit cage. This cage is not as tall as the other 2 cages and I couldn't fit the same nesting boxes into it. I have been on the look out for something that would fit, have ventilation, would hold up in the weather and the rabbit wouldn't eat it. I was putting some things away and noticed a unused tote that would work perfect so I am double pleased to use something I already had.

The burnt lasagna was 3/4 eaten when DD47 did a porch dropoff. She brought a big pan of chicken & dumplings, pan of warm cupcakes with icing, and two gallon jugs of Sunny D juice. The kids might be sick and cranky, but they are not hungry!

LM I had a hard time getting the froz. laganga to cook for us as well. After that experience I bought smaller packages of it and that worked better seems like I cooked em in the microwave.

I have walked with ddoggo.
I put the onion sets that have gone bad are out of here and now composting outside.
I had some tummy issues this morning.
I had some lunch.
Talked with my dsis.

Nancy - Good suggestion! Thank you.

I have cancelled DS15 music lessons for tomorrow and the following Monday since next week is thanksgiving and we are out of school. I cancelled DS15 appt with personal trainer for this week. I am hopeful he can return to the gym next week. We won't be doing homeschooling while DS15 is covid positive, so I need to move all his assignments forward on his calendar. I am only going to move assignments one day at a time because DS15 is already feeling better. Youth recover quickly so I'm not sure how long it will take.

DD12 has an appt with her counselor tomorrow evening and she REALLY doesn't want to cancel it. Their office is closed today so I will wait until tomorrow for the final decision whether to cancel it or not. If DD12 is still covid negative tomorrow and feels okay, then she might proceed with normal activities. I give that about 10% chance of happening, but she is hopeful.

I have done ALL of the laundry and it's all away other than what is in the dryer.

I have done ALL dishes other than what is in the dishwasher and what is being used for supper.

All floors got mopped this morning, so I'm not re-doing them until tomorrow, if needed...

Dh and I talked about a possible vacation somewhere between December 15 and January 15. I need to re-check the calendar because I think he has an appointment with his cardiologist in January. The vacation might be 7 or 14 days, I'm waiting to see the prices. He is desperate to go south, which is weird because he doesn't like the heat of summer time. I think he just wants to take me away from winter for a break in the heat. So far we have decided against Mexico and Jamaica and Aruba/Bonaire/Curacao. (ABC Islands are too far south, therefore too hot.)

I checked and it is 68* in here upstairs. This plan is working with the small heater in the main part of the house.
I had veg.
My sinks got cleaned this morning.
I went outside and raked the front yard mostly to get out of the house and for some exercise.
Flipping between ice skating for the music mostly & football to check score.

Waving to all and special (((hugs))) for Harriet with those annoying lab reports!

It’s a sick Sunday here too. Took dgs to urgent care — positive for Flu A. Dgd recovering from strep; she may go back to school tomorrow. He’s out till Tues at least, and he feels so miserable.
So far, dh and I are okay, but he’s feeling yucky because of the antibiotics for his UTI.

Congratulations to LordM! That is quite an honor and well-deserved.
Tomorrow is another day.

it's been a rough day for me - but it's getting better.

dd older brought up the Christmas boxes and wanted to decorate everything right away - and we all know that's not possible.
She put the village up on top of the hutch in the dining room. it's early for Christmas but with dd younger and mom being here until dec. 3rd means that dd can be part of the holiday set up.

mom complained that my house wasn't clean enough to decorate. oh well I know I am doing good by her and my family even though I haven't been able to keep up with everything. Glad dd younger is coming home tomorrow for her dog.

Mom's dementia was difficult today for her - she didn't know she was having a problem - I shouldn't have asked her to help me make up her card list for the holidays. She can't do it anymore. 2 cards every other day will b better. . She only has 10 cards to do.

bought her nice dinner and dessert (had it delivered) and made her a plate so she could watch white Christmas in the family room. it was nice until she turned to me and said - how does your husband feel about your house.
