WTG, Kathryn on getting settled in at the cottage, and on cleaning out the car. I meant to do that before we left on 3 April and haven't been able since. OTOH, there was no point in doing it with us coming to the beach, too.

Dh is still out on the sun, I had been out nearly five hours, with strong sunscreen, when I came in. We'll pack up and leave in the morning, I'd like to get away by 9 a.m. We need to get through Atlanta before 4 p.m. for sure.

Dd25 on her way home with Thai food for our last ordinary night together, requesting we watch Are You Being Served in the den, lol. She and her Matron of Honor have fixed up the Air B and B for attendants, who arrive tomorrow. Marriage license secured after the young man got off work and met them. She says her work phone is officially turned off, work calendar that coworkers see just says, "Getting Married" now, until middle of next week.

Gown requires another trip to pick it up - a mixed blessing. I don't want to have more hand sewing, really, but good gravy, how much driving does it take to come home with a dress. I've been applauded for sending along bra notions I had on hand here, lol. Evidently the seamstress reached right for them. Don't you love it when you turn out to be a genius?

I only have 2 feet of sewing left. I'm sure I'll finish that after supper.

We have a family birthday coming up not long after the wedding, and I've ordered gift for that.

Harriet - the countdown to DD wedding seems to be well planned and executed. I hope you enjoy each of the special moments and memories.

I just got home from picking up DS15 from attending girlfriend church.

I am pleased with my efforts in the 3 outcomes. I didn't finish all 3 but I did what I could when i could.
