BIG CONGRATULATIONS TWINS!! You are certainly allowed to be in a kind of high for several days! What a great accomplishment getting your article published in the society's quarterly journal!
blessed, always nice to see your cheerful spirit. We haven't had rain for a while either and none in the current forecast -- but we are having amazing weather, sunny and highs in the low-mid 80s for almost 3 weeks now. We'll dip down to 78 in 2 weeks. I could get used to this! Enjoy your dinner out anyway.
bsweet, I agree with others that LadyM's words are wise! We've used Nature's Miracle on dog accidents in the past (no dog now), and it worked well - but that was on carpeted spots or hard wood floors. And we used it on fresh wet spots. (Sorry if TMI) If I were a guest, I'd be excited about freshly baked cookies and seeing someone I love! Probably in reverse order. . . . LOL!
WTG mopping your floors today, CathyS.
Did you figure out the window treatment solution in your sleep, LadyM? I'm curious bc I'm intrigued by sleep problem solving. Sometimes, I problem solve in my sleep. Dh does it so much that he keeps a pad of paper and a pen on his bedside table to write down his ideas in the middle of the night.
That's so early to start your day, RRose! Enjoy the flexible schedule now.
Waving to Harriet. Did you go to church this morning?
Dh and I visited a Lutheran church this morning. It was my first time attending a Lutheran church service. We liked a lot of things about it!
Yesterday I did nothing other than laundry bc I was dealing with an odd tummy bug. I think it's mostly done now, though in the middle of the night last night, I awoke to my stomach hurting - not nauseated - but in pain. It subsided fairly quickly. This morning, it was not thrilled by tea with a little milk and sugar, but it got over it, and it's been OK with the bit of lunch I've just eaten, including plain non-fat Greek yogurt.
Today, is pretty social and tomorrow is scheduled from 9 a.m. - 4 pm (a little less than an hour at home for lunch is in there - commuting takes me about 25 minutes). Ergo, I need to do my prep for tomorrow's class - now. It's my only chunk of time to work on it before class. And I need to prep super well bc I'm being observed tomorrow. It makes me nervous, although AC, my supervisor, is also a good friend.
Today: visit church in the morning / Comm Group 2 4-6:15-ish / 6:30-ish Dinner with M, the girls, and the Cs; M is cooking at our house / 8:15-ish family zoom call (including ds + F in the Seattle area)
Tomorrow: 9 - dental appt./ 11-1 payroll: teach AIW D6 (with my annual observation)/ 1-1:40 teacher meeting/ 3-4 counseling
I'm going to make a quick run to WF next and then work on payroll prep. I might also change the sheets and run a load of towels and sheets. I need to be otd to CG2 in 2.5 hours!
