Well I ended up deep cleaning my bathrooms. Scrubbed the shower floors with my electric scrubbed. Washed all the cabinet doors and doors leading in to the bathrooms both sides. Also cleaned my shower doors both sides as well. While I waited for my scrubbed to recharge, I vacuumed the corners of my floors throughout the house and under the area rug edges.

Einstein is smart but round so when he vacuums he misses these areas. Doesn’t take but 20 minutes to do that plus I vacuum my kitchen area every day. I have throw rugs down in that area as well. Now all
My bath and cleaning towels are in the washer.

Sweetie has been sweet, but then turned snarly. This is becoming a daily part of my life. Hate it, but not him :D:

Ugh, LadyM. Teens!

I got flu and COVID shots quickly and ran some errands while out. Post office to check HOA mailbox, UPS to drop off a return, and went to car dealership - they ordered a cap that went over windshield wiper base when I got it serviced. While I was out the "low battery" alert came on for my key fob and the dealership fixed that for free too. The key fob was what triggered me that I still had to go by for the other thing. Also went through car wash.

I have a busy week coming up and I hate it when I'm so busy. No wonder I don't want more social commitments! Two PT appointments (hopefully the end?) plus two workouts. Plus body work, a dr. office visit, a mentoring Zoom call. All that in four days, then Friday night at temple for Kol Niedre and sit on the bima (stage/pulpit.) We also sit on the bima on Saturday a.m. for Yom Kippur - me for Cemetery Board, dh for being a Trustee of the endowment funds.

DS16 came home from work and we agreed upon his schedule for the rest of today.
2-5pm He is spending time with girlfriend until she leaves for her job.
5-6pm workout at gym
6pm >>>? Reassemble pickup and move it to his side of the driveway. This include cleaning the stains off my side of driveway.

We also discussed his phone usage while driving. Life360 says DS16 used his phone 46 times while driving. I don't trust Life360 data is 100% accurate but it does indicate an excessive use of phone while driving.
On a positive note....DS16 has not speed a single time since he was stopped by police (according to Life360 data).

I have been to the garden several times this morning. I go to the garden to relax which usually includes doing something or another. I have harvested tomatoes, peppers, okra and sweet potatoes. I transplanted some strawberry plants. Removed old flower heads from zinnas and marigold plants. Watered raised beds. Started the process of removing the asparagus ferns that are nearing the end of their season. I have 2 more of the new mums to be planted but I can't decide where to put them.....yet.

Today has been a busy day at the end of 2 very busy weeks. Next week might be a little lighter.

Last week, payroll was heavy. I had final drafts of essays due plus essay exams to grade -- plus the final exam from another class, and exam prep work. And more editing work for the writing curriculum project. This was on top of regular payroll: 5 classes with HW to grade and prepping -- and, oh, yeah -- teaching! I had 2 extras during the week - a Meghan Trainor concert Monday night -- OK, but not our fav. And then coffee with a friend Tuesday after my get together with K, S2, and J.

Today - I got up super late. I slept 11 hours. Thursday night, I got 5.5 hours sleep, which is not enough for me. I stayed up late grading and woke up early to finish. It was a tight turn around with essays turned in Tuesday, an exam given Tuesday and essay exams on Wednesday - and grades due Friday a.m. I got it all done. Back to today - I had a mammogram appt. at noon. I then spent another 2 hours working on editing the Writing Curr. Dev. Project for payroll. I now need to (1) procure and gift + card for baby welcome party for ex-student's niece and (2) get in exercise if possible. Then, tonight the welcome baby party is 5-9, which overlaps with CG1 with is also 5-9-ish. I'll leave the party early - hoping that's OK. The family is from Jordan, and I've learned it would be impolite to leave too early. Middle Eastern hospitality is expansive! (It's also a women only party!) Since I'm American and this ex-student is a lovely person, I think it will be OK.

Tomorrow is thankfully low key - church in the morning and probably dinner with the Cs and girls in the evening.

Next week: Looks like a fairly regular week for a lovely change. Dh will be out M - W for a work trip. We/I are/am hosting overnight guests for dd29's religious org (our housemate M works for the same org) M and W night -- but not Tuesday night. Haven't figured that one out yet. We're hosting our dinner group Thursday night. Work-wise, next week is week 1 for a new session at work  Tuesday will have extra meetings but Monday will have no class. But I think I'm helping with admin tasks on Monday. Next weekend should be quieter too with nothing on Saturday! Church and possibly CG2 on Sunday.

I'm off to get a baby gift.

Well looks like a big storm is headed my way. Already talking to my son about where and when we will go if we need toe evacuate. I would stay but promised my son after Hurricane Ian tat I would leave before the storm. Can’t head to any part of Florida because the entire state is in the path of the storm.
Guess I need to think about packing. Good thing I keep a packing list on my computer. I may need it.

Be safe, RRose.
WTG on all the outdoor work, nancy ,and step count.

I have procured baby books, a card, and a gift bag. I'll put it all together next and write the card - even though I don't know the name of the baby or the mother. LOL! This is a cultural experience.
