Harriet, I missed something— what did they do to you yesterday? I also hope you’re feeling better today and that Twins has an easy day.
AND that resuming shots will help you, LadyM!
Sending (((big hugs))) to LadyM’s ds, also. Break-ups are tough.
I have been to the dermatologist. Got the place on my forehead “frozen” and it was not nearly as bad as dfriend had described. Then she gave me rx’s for THREE different creams. I am supposed to mix these equally— apparently they aren’t supposed to be mixed before use? I’m wonder why the pharmacist can’t put them all together for me.
Anyway, I’m supposed to see her again in five weeks.
Talked to ds, talking to dmom now.
I’m going to see that movie. (Tom Hanks)
Waving to ALL — posting on phone so it’s hard to keep up.

Lunch time CI
I have done an errand got Rx & frozen cheese cakes for Turkey day.
Got lunch stuff.
Walked ddoggo half of the regular one doing that helped me to get my steps in.
Asked the guy at the p/c counter & he agreed with my conclusion that the one I got was a lemon.

Nancy, you really do sound like you're doing well, and if you feel more "on track", that's great.
Cathy, I guess because it is super rainy here, you and Nancy getting the outside chores done sounds so ambitious. Funny about indecisive cats. They like to have their options open.
LadyM, that does seem odd that the two happened at the same time. Hope it returns to normal.
blessed, we're still deciding what we'll do about the tree here.
Ramblin', do you suppose you stayed so comfortable you didn't even wake up enough to get the urge for the bathroom? That seems about too good to be true, doesn't it? Lol.
Mystery, that is so interesting to hear about - good for you on learning so much. That doctor who will be happy for you sounds like a caring person.
Glad you're home, Twins'. You are not unexceptional, but it's nice you can have results that are.
I am getting light things done. Got a delivery of flowers from HRH for anniversary. Then he ordered us lunch from a favorite place. Neither of us had the appetite to do the whole thing justice, but he really only left his dessert. I've still got half my meal left for supper!
Oh, dear, blessed. We shouldn't have been talking about warm sleeps, should we? I am headed for a nap, actually. HRH is nagging me to do so, and he's right.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
Happy Anniversary Harriet & HRH!
I am home from a round of errands in the city.
** Prolia shot. I was told this is the last time I can get this shot at this infusion place. This is strange. This is the second medical establishment that has stopped giving these bone density shots.
** Blood work done... Usually, my veins are difficult to draw but today it was quick and easy.
** Load of decluttered items taken to our favorite charity.
** Sams's = Pharmacy, vehicle gas and list shopping.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
I hope you had a lovely nap d harriet!
hello everyone!
mom signed the paperwork for the day after thanksgiving - she was fine about that- but when we gave the papers in she wasn't happy with me - lots of I can take care of myself, I have been doing my pills forever and so on, no one lets me drive, etc. Lots of passive aggressive moments.
Today has been a bit of a challenge but it's okay! that's the small stuff!
I have a nurse coming to giver her the meds she needs. I still have to order breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
I'm returning to human, albeit, gassy, form. Slept awhile, read awhile, drove to post office to drop off a package should have been mailed this a.m. I've straightened up the kitchen a bit and finally refilled meds containers for the week.
Dh left for a chiropractor appointment at 4 p.m., which I thought was 30 minutes, so I don't know where he is. I left our dinner up to him.(I am a lucky woman, he just walked in with a yummy take out dinner for us.)
I finally received the prior authorization for my meds that the doc and I discussed THREE WEEKS ago tomorrow. Doc said didn't get info from pharmacy, then whatever he did the first time it apparently went back to him but nothing had happened. So finally it's done. I'll pick up tomorrow I hope.
We do all this again next week when dh has his colonoscopy on Wednesday.
I promise I'll CUOP and be more with it tomorrow.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
Blessed - you're a good daughter taking care of your DMom.
We have a make-believe Great Grandchild staying with us this week. DD13 has a school assignment to care for a hard boiled egg as if it was a baby. She has to take the egg in a carrier with her all day, decorate it, give it a name, etc. I don't know how a hard-boiled egg is going to last for a week without smelling.
Happening in the kitchen today -
** Fried Chicken Steak
** Mashed potatoes
** Rotisserie chicken (from Sams)

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
We had shake'n'bake drumsticks, boiled potatoes and green beans for supper. Dh has asked if I would like him to order Chinese food for tomorrow night. Of course I said yes!
We both tried to have a nap this afternoon. Dh gave up after a few minutes. I'm sure I slept but I don't know how long or how well I slept.
Most of the dirty dishes are in the dishwasher. I will turn it on after 7. I also have some clean clothes in the dyer that I need to put away tonight.
All three cats had their supper and they are all sleeping. Dh is watching the local news. I'm going to put those dishes into the dishwasher.
A tiny bit later...
Dishwasher is loaded and working. Dryer is refreshing the load that will be waiting for me in 20 minutes. Dh is yawning and playing on his phone and stretched out on the bed.
