Not sure what my own anti-procrastination tasks are today, but dh has his colonoscopy, so at least he's covered. Perhaps I can count getting the recycling out already, since he decided not to take it out two weeks ago (he said it wasn't full!) but it's beyond overflowing now.
We'll be out of the house for the a.m., I'll take him to lunch where ever he wants to go, and he says he's not sure about his dinner. We're out for dinner tomorrow night with a client (shudder) that wants to take us out.
Gotta get moving, need shower, walk ddog, breakfast. Need to leave here a little before 9 probably.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Thanks for the start Twins' Mom!
I ended up having a somewhat productive evening. I put a load of washing on and stayed up long enough to move it to the dryer. I also did a lot of large utensils and pots and pans. There is one large pot left and some sharp knives. The dishwasher even did a load overnight, so I just need to unload it. All garbage got taken out yesterday and I just have to clean the litter box today. Dh has had his coffee.
It's very foggy here today.
No idea what we will have for supper.

Morning y’all…
I’ve been to my class, did my routines…even made the bed before I got dressed. Cleaned up the kitchen and picked up a few footprints.
Drinking my second cup of coffee. It’s a rainy day and of course the heavy rain is due for when I have to drive to my drs appointment. I give myself plenty of time and bring my book in case I get there early

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
We're to have cooler weather move in today with a low around 40 tonight. We have not had a frost yet. Google says average first frost is around Oct. 31.
We're at dr office which is in a medical building attached to the hospital. They're already taken dh back! My appointment was also at 9:30 last week, and I sat out here awhile before they took me back. I probably have a couple of hours, I remember that when they woke me up it was 11:30. Hummm, I'm the only person out here waiting for someone. Perhaps they were busier last week?

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Good morning!
I've got my day cut out for me with two doctor's appointments -- cardiologist and first intake to bariatrics, this time with the internist -- and getting DC to and from school. I will have to take them early to make sure I'm back for the first appointment near home, but my later appointment is closer to their school and should end just in time for me to get there for pickup. DD is staying home today. Yesterday's trip to the urgent care resulted in a diagnosis of bronchitis and three different prescriptions, one of which suppresses the immune system or something such that she's been told not to work with the kids till she's off it. She's a little sad that she won't see the kids till after Thanksgiving, as they have the entire week off.
As for anti-procrastination, I should go upstairs and put the clean clothes away. DH brought the baskets up this morning; I had asked the kids to do it last night.
lucylee, I hear you regarding the school buildings. They tore down my grade school and high school a few years back, the same year we sold my mom's house, which was across from the high school. I have not driven down that street since. Fortunately, I don't really have cause to.
Weather here is a bit warmer than Nancy's and a bit cooler than Twins'. They are talking about the possibility of a rain/snow mix for tomorrow, though. Brr! And cold rain is the worst -- worse than snow, I think, because it gets into you.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Reminder ... Nancy reminds me that it is time to reorder calendars, planners, etc. if your favs are in ANY way hard to find. I just had a reminder sheet pop up between pages, and I appreciated it because I remember that last year, I nearly waited too late and (by phone) found the only one left in a brick-and-mortar store that was willing to hold it for me.
Perhaps your morning will be streamlined, then, Twins'. Tomorrow is my day for it. We're still not sure how it's going to work, but I would likely wait rather than return home and wait for a call.
lucylee, malls exist here and a glance at their parking lots seems normal, but it is simply no longer the habit of folks to go there as much, IMO. I don't even think the mall-walkers still gather, but I could be wrong - that trend fell out of favor when podiatrists criticized the cement floors, I think. The pandemic turning out to be so hard, the rise of A-River and WMart's free-delivery competition to A-River's Prime, all have contributed. Belk, just like HarrisTeeter, Ivey's/Dillards, and many other venerable names, have been sold to completely different entities. Why should I feel "loyalty" to HT when it is really Krogers, a store I never had any love for, even when it first elbowed its way into the area. Why look to Belk as a legacy store my family always liked, when it is now really a bunch of "equity sponsors" no one has ever heard of? Nevertheless, Belk's, (Belk, belk) is still almost always one anchor of any sizable mall in this region.
Best wishes to your DD, Mystery - what kind of work does she do, is she teaching? Sorry that she has to give up some fun. Hoping the appts go very well for you, with optimism.
Schools - Yes, we look over at the complicated new "campus" of our dear old local school site and wonder. HRH said the other day as we drove by, "Where in there are kids going to classes now? " And I wasn't sure.
Well, called away...

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Dh was back in the patient holding room by 11 a.m., much faster than my trip. I remember feeling pretty wide awake when they woke me up there, and he seemed to take some time to wake up. Everything was fine with dh - couple of small polyps to be biopsied but nothing to worry about.
So we're home. Received very concerning phone call as doc was coming in to talk w us - I've put it in J & C. I am feeling sick with this news.
And dh is on my last nerve right now because I'm upset.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
I procrastinated getting out of bed - I don't know why I slept until 10 am.
mom slept late too which is good for me.
dh is in a much nicer mood. I can feel the lighter air around the house...always good!
my sweet niece is making bagels for everyone for the morning after Thanksgiving- isn't that sweet! All my nieces and nephews are lovely people! I just thought this was so thoughtful (and delicious)!
How is everyone this morning? I hope you are all well!
I am glad to hear that your dh did well!
I hope tomorrow's dinner, with the client, will be filled with engaging and interested conversation. May it be enjoyable!
have a good day!
hi d cathy! yay on your productive evening!
hope the fog isn't a problem when driving.
have a wonderful day too!
hi d rose morning!
wow yay on all you accomplished this morning! good luck on your dr appointment - hope the rain will be light while you are out. hope you have a good day!
yay d Nancy - yay on having power!!
yay on decluttering your planner
hope you have great day.
hi d mystery!
hope the dr. appointments are Smooth and helpful! oh I am so sorry your dd has bronchitis!!! praying for fast healing! I am sorry she won't be able to see the kids.
I hope today is a lovely day for you!
hello d harriet!
thank you for the reminder d Nancy and d harriet.
I hope you have a great day!
I have never heard of Belk before - isn't funny how each area/state have their own stores but are basically the same.
to all- enjoy your day!
I have decided not to by my calendar from She's in her apron. I love it but I don't use it as much - I am trying hard to use my phone.
I don't think it's going to work but I want to try.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
I need to tweak my system to a quarterly one with those in before each quarter, instead of just monthly.
I got an undated planner last week so will be trying to get it set up how I will try it next year.
This fall doing stuff one month at a time in my separate planner did not work with fall and holiday prep.
so this is what I'm thinking about. So glad I've kept other years of seasonal stuff to refer back to and can remove unneeded pages.
Okay I have divided a sheet in to 1/4 ths review old planners for seasonal lists not as good as I hoped but I have a pretty good start.
I'll put each on it's own page as needed later on might need a new divider for that Q1, Q2 etc. .
I mixed up tuna salad for lunch with eggs I boiled last evening.
I was laying in bed and thought of them had to jump up out of bed to put them in the fridge to peel today.
But I"m glad I remembered them.
Had some broth this morning that sounded good.
Dishes are done.
I cleared leaves off the deck patio and some out of the carport before the rain and got em in the can yea!
Cleared off the spare room deck yea!
I did sleep well last night. in 15 min. we did not get much here.
The wind advisory will be over.
Had some lunch
Fetched the mail.
I am cold have not thought about walking yet.
I hear Canada geese outside.
Walked.
