Harriet I enjoyed how you posted about your successful hem!

I have to rake up some leaves in the front yard.
Sun is out 8-) and it's stopped raining.
I have a bite to eat for lunch. x

Bw2 oh man sorry about the washer issues.
I remember one time doing wash in the bath tub that was a chore.

We have walked.
Folded & put away that load of laundry.

Good afternoon!

We are scheduled to run the livestream at the 4 pm Mass. Usually DH aims to get there about 3:30, but he has gone on a run to the drugstore & the small grocery store. We shall see when he gets back. :? In the meantime, I'm here!

Rose, will the toll roads that you are taking take cash? More and more are relying on transponders or billing you off your license plate.

Good luck to the football team, Nancy! We've rooted for a few state championships here, though not in football recently.

I'm glad you may have found a therapist, Twins. You've been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

Is the fermented bread like sourdough, blessed? Sorry about your washer -- that's a good while to be without!

Oh, my, LadyM! Yes, I suppose things get a little less than calm, particularly with your DS heading for a date.

Good for you, Harriet, on getting your water prepped for the winter. It's always interesting to me to hear about -- very different from my experience with city water.

DH has managed to get home, but they didn't have one of the things I wanted -- sugar-free Altoids. They only had the store brand, and their sugar-free ones come in a full-size tin. (It was really the tin I wanted, not the candy. :( ) Time for me to spiff up and head out. Have a pleasant evening, everyone!

Yes Mystery the tolls do take cash. Hertz’s wanted to charge me $25 a day for an easy pass. I’ll only be going through the tolls twice…once on my way home and then back when I return to the airport. Tolls should only be $6-7 one way so it makes no sense to do a daily easy pass!

it's nice that your tolls take cash - ours don't - there are no longer areas for that - you have to use the computer to pay for Illinois tolls.

We are heading out to dinner with friends. I stamped a bit this afternoon, piddled some. Quiet day for us, which was nice. Tomorrow dh bowls in the evening and we're going to a 3 p.m. recital - the senior college recital of neighbors daughter. Want to support her, the dd has had a rough time lately. Nice family, it's the college freshman son who will dog sit for us.

I raked the leaves in the front yard.
Watched a show I"d been waiting to come this week.
Ddoggo is playing find the food!
Sat. is usually project day for me but I have already done enough projects this week.
I did get one string of ligts out and tested they are good. So Counting that as working on decor! LOL!
I had an ishy tummy so did not go to the craft fair.

Just a cozy day at home suits me fine today.
Sheets can wait or I can put the others on and wash the ones on the bed later if I do that.
Or another day would work as well.
Looks like we have a break for a bit from the rain. Just clouds is great for the championship game that starts in 30 min.
Dgd started working at a local fast food place this week.

sorry you had an iffy stomach! hope you feel better now.
I am so happy you a cozy day at home!

hi d twins have a lovely dinner!!!
glad you had time to stamp and also dilly dally a bit!

wow $25.00 a day. that's a lot d rose
I hope you have a good evening.

hi d mystery hope you also had a good afternoon
how was your mass
it's an Alsatian bread - it's not a sourdough starter -they say it's fermented but, not really, it is made with half the flour (white, wheat and rye) and 1/2 the salt and sits in fridge overnight. Then the other half of flour is added. - let rise.

This evening have enjoyed new Great British Baking Show. It's gotten to the nail-biting one this week, kinda the unforgiving one. Less of the fun and more remembering that it does have to be a competition. Paused before the judging finish, so that I don't know the week's outcome, and will watch again with HRH all the way through.

Slowly spiffing the kitchen during breaks.

Also enjoyed online prayer meeting.

Thank you for the evening wishes, blessed. And that's good you have your dmother's place as an alternative while your washing machine is down.
