What will the day bring - how are you looking at your day - what do you wish for today?

I honestly don't know what today will bring but I am looking at what I can do and how I can grab the best through the day.

The day can be full of beautiful small moments of beauty and gratitude! I pray today you all have a day of joy in the work you do!

We are homemakers - we are human beings sharing our lives together - we are pretty amazing!

Blessed - Thank you for the start and encouragement today.

My day is off to a fairly good start. No drama and no blunders. Sometimes that is good enough.

I am on hour #2 of my day. DD13 has been delivered to school with a chatty lighthearted drive. First trip to the garden has been enjoyed. I am creating a structure covering some of the winter greens. i am on cup #2 of coffee. Personal and kitchen AM cards have been accomplished.

No cavities or other problems at dentist

The Obgyn WILL see me and say “Of course that change in progesterone can cause this bleeding! Cancer? Get outta here!” ( Seinfeld reference)

I am just starting hour one -
woke mom - gave her breakfast and meds
all animals are fed as well.
I am hopeful! It's a new day!

mom needs a shower but I dont' want to go to apartment bc I want to work in yard before the freeze tomorrow.
I will wash her hair here and then have her wash her self down. she can't step over the tub for the shower upstairs

in 20 minutes I will get mom started - take her for a small walk

Lucylee, of course that's it. Makes sense to me and I did a little reading with Dr. Google, who concurs.

I slept in. DD called at 10 a.m. and I was still sleeping, we talked for almost 45 min. I don't know if dh walked dog earlier - I think it was raining so perhaps he didn't. But she let me sleep, until dd didn't. I obviously slept well but now that I'm moving about my nose is running again.

I have a cemetery meeting at temple at 3 p.m. Must take checks for holiday bonuses for the two temple employees who help (some) with cemetery operations too. And tonight a HOA board meeting - actually three of five board members. One has moved out because he and wife are divorcing, although he's not told us so. And the fifth who is being excluded for this planning meeting, in part because she's been on board forever and hasn't contributed, but also that she and her dh are complaining re: neighbors dogs and we are wanting to stay out of the middle. (Dog neighbor has been cited to court.) I don't want to do either meeting but will.

So I'm letting dh know that with two meetings for me, our supper is leftover chili or eating out.

I need to get moving. I have laundry going to lay flat to dry. Ddog is past ready to walk, so I'm going to change and walk her.

Some thoughts for today: with two meetings and a cold (at a minimum) I am going to keep it simple. My focus is routines and regrouping.

yes she is - I am actually more relaxed having her here bc I don't have to travel back and forth. tomorrow night she has a helper - I will tell her tomorrow.
Her brain is great today again- I wonder if being with us day in and day out, her meds, meals etc. have made a difference. She is kind - I will take that 100 % - she didn't balk when I said I was washing her hair and that dd younger was brushing it.
she did great - she is now getting dressed

so happy you got to sleep in d twins!!! you have a active business day today with all your meetings! hope they are uneventful for you!!!
hope your cold goes away soon!!! glad you are keeping it simple.

time to take my meds
finish rinsing things - boil potatoes soon
I need to order groceries - fruit etc.
dd younger and I walked mom out in front - she couldn't go far probably bc of the little bit of fluid in her lungs and laying down for six days.
in two hours we will take her again.

dh deciding not to do any work -even garbage is adding more work for me - I am just going to have to buck it up butter cup. what would arguing do. he is nice to talk to so that's good but I know that somewhere it may be passive aggressive. I think it's a way to not be around bc mom is here - he may not even know he is doing it. He looks really healthy so I am grateful for that.

lost dogs collars - found them - had a good laugh bc there was nothing I could do about -
mom is asleep
time for work outside - first put the potatoes on
brother is coming in at 2pm - he has a meeting in Chicago

I forgot what hour I should be at -
made an appointment for my mammogram and bone density

Got up did some journaling & qt...
but did not have a ton of energy did get dressed and combed & fix my hair.
Listened to grief talk on yt had some good points to think on.
Knit one row.
Did a RBR PUPA & made bed.
Feeling a bit on the puny side.
So the bar is low today and that is fine by me.

I'm glad you're able to feel more relaxed bw2. I'm sure that her dementia worsened in the hospital - it's a strange place and my mother's was much worse when she moved from home into assisted living.

Dog is walked, I've had breakfast.

I urgently need to reinstall Windows on my computer but want to use Best Buy support to do that. There are also Dropbox files that aren't syncing so need to solve that as well. Upstairs those files are synced, or deleted, I'm not sure which. But I need a block of time for computer support and at this point, don't have it today.

I am going to work for 45 min, until TOTH, finishing a.m. routine, including s2s. Also must find cemetery checkbook in the "current" file folder on my downstairs desk, which has been a paper wreck since April.

Ugh. Didn't post this earlier.
