Several of us have early appointments out of the house. We're going to pretend to be early birds getting a nice fresh worm. Mornings are not my thing, personally.

And dear Lucy is having her biopsy today - over and done with! We have a virtual waiting room with flowers, pastries, and fresh coffee while we wait for the all clear!

Twins - Thank you for the start this morning.

I am thinking about the poem Cathy posted recently. Don't quit. I need to go back and copy/paste it where I can save it.

I reviewed the video recordings of one of the interior home cameras this morning looking to see if DH was wandering the house during the night. What I found was about 4 hour period during the middle of the night where teenagers were in the kitchen selecting food to eat. The refrigerator was the central location to their foraging. This morning, I did a quick inventory of the ready-to-eat stash and found it was 75% gone. All good. I just need to add restocking pantry and ready-to-eat foods to my daily doings.

I am not an early bird this morning. I have no need to be out of the house before taking DD to work a bit past 1:30, so I have slept in. I am currently procrastinating on s2s.

Found and copied poem so I can be reminded of its message.

DD13 delivered to school by DH. He volunteers to do it ever once in a while and I am all for that as long as he can do it safely.

Morning mile walk accomplished. I washed my hair earlier so it was wet but didn't freeze in 25F temp. I am bundled up with many layers and a extra warm coat that is too big for me. I like having this size coat for this purpose because my gloved hands can be inside the coat sleeves. Having a cloth wrap over my nose & mouth makes it feel almost comfortable when heavy breathing in cold temps. Given the choice, I would choose 100F temps over the freezing cold but I do appreciate experiencing the different seasons.

I got going early today and have been over to the other building to run that errand, now have finished my light therapy, tea and chocolate, and paid the balance of the cottage deposit.

Next up is a brief move around the apartment to get some steps in and my joints moving.

Dh will be walking to the bookmobile today to return a book and I think I'll walk with him since the weather is pretty decent today. Aside from that, I have a ton of things I should be doing but no plans to do any of them. I'm on day 4 of no cola/dr.pepper in the apartment and surviving but it is hard to resist picking some up when I go to the store to get vegetables. Our "eat out of the freezer" January is going very well but I need to pick up some pantry supplies.

The early King of the Forest has caught his third non-surviving wildebeest of the winter. This has been a most consistently cold winter, and I would measure that opinion by the mouse problem, worst in Tobias' memory, I think.

My favorite flavor of worm is probably whatever the green and yellow gummy is. They always seem fresh.

HRH and I need one more talk before we decide whether we are headed to faraway "maintenance" appt tomorrow. If he is really against it for me, too, I'll cancel. I'm not on my game.

A tada from last evening was an hour's conversation with dmil for me. She doesn't want to talk to HRH because he correctly told her she can't easily change ortho drs in midstream, they won't have her x-rays, will take a long time to get an appt, she will likely be responsible for taking her own x-rays to the new people, they are not affiliated, insurance hasn't weighed in on this, etc. Sigh. She says she thinks she will tell the new dr that tomorrow, Thursday, will be convenient for her. okay. She says dsisil is mad at her now ... .. ummm.

Off Track with my a m stuff on grooming....
the mission of paper taming took the front row seat for apx. the last 5 days!
Now I need to put the keeper stuff in a tote or ?

I refilled my vitamin containers (but am 15 days short on my new meds because he gave me a short prescription to start.) I have enough for two more weeks and my appointment is in one week. And I have enough left to taper off we decide to try something else. I don't cry everyday now so that is one sign it is working. But the aphasia is no better, and possibly worse as I catch it in my typing as well as talking. The difference is I proof read typing, I can't do that with speaking so if I miss the wrong word when I speak, I may miscommunicate.

I also removed the now frozen shepherds pie leftovers from the casserole dish and returned them to the freezer, updated the inventory, and washed out the dish.

Now to find something more productive to do on the paperwork front.
