bw2, I have a friend who irons all her husband's clothes - probably his boxer shorts too. (That includes t shirts.)
I've been out to appointment with dh and attorney for estate planning and new wills. I was up early editing what dh and I had written down when we did the questionnaire, and also looking for our warranty deed for the attorney. Even as a former CPA a lot was beyond me. I have some terms to look up to be sure I understand. I know we'll get a chance to review before we have to sign them.
Stopped at grocery on the way home, didn't take my list but did get a few things I remembered. Now I've lollygagged a little and I need to get going on HOA invoices...

Re: Early birds, Lucylee, PWYC
my dh's aunt ironed all of her husbands tee shirts and underwear too - I think I will get a new iron pad for my ironing board - she likes her iron so I may pick it up. Her underwear were beautiful and I didn't see a wrinkle but it must be something she has always done.
I think I will ask my girls if they notice something I do, as habit, that they find interesting! that should be interesting.

I think I will have to do a version of "the young and the restless" but call it "The Old and the Cranky".
I just wonder what character I will be -
I have never watched soap operas but have an acquaintance that loves them.
waving - I needed a happy break so here I am - hope it is a wonderful day for all of you.

Y'ALL AREN'T GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!
I was sitting there, sheet over my bottom half, and the NP came in and said, " i need to talk to you about this. You remember, I told you you have a bilateral uterus (I think that is what she said -- it means there are almost two chambers, kinda a dividing tissue making it sorta heart shaped) -- well, she says, I need to get samples from each side, but there is no way to be certain I've done that because I can't SEE what I'm doing, and it would be VERY uncomfortable for you. Sooo -- my recommendation would be to let Dr. Ward, our surgeon do this, either at the surgery center or the OR at the hospital, and you would be under anesthesia so you'd have no painl"
WOW. Of course I agreed, being put to sleep is a very good thing in this case. thank you sooo much for our prayers!
So -- I got dressed and and we came home. Now I need a nap. I'm still doped up pretty good, you know.

I bet they will do outpatient in a surgery center and have you home that night in your own bed.
blessed, there are small irons now - just a few inches each way. And ones that are cordless because it is their base that has a cord instead. These make things easier with tiny spaces. Are you sure, however, she's not remembering something she gave up doing decades ago... ..
Well, got a call back, as well, from main treatment dr's office and it seems there is one test they haven't done on me - only one, I'm sure. They want a urine sample brought to our relatively local place today. Sigh. Double sigh. I was sorta glad to hear from nurse, though, so I could report my eyesight seems affected by most recent infusion.
HRH is clattering and clanking in the den putting together some new shelves - the pkg that was lost has been found. Delivery guy says it was at a house not on our street, not with our number, and with no apparent reason to think it had anything to do with us.

Re: Early birds, Lucylee, PWYC
I think a small iron may be the deal - thank you d harriet - she has her iron and ironing board set up at home. I've been there and she has a thing about seems being straight and ironed. You know how you can look at the clouds and see shapes - d mom can look at cloths and she wrinkles even when the fabric looks beautiful.
oh I am sorry you have to bring a sample in today - I had hoped you could have a day off d harriet! Hope your eye sight gets better as the day goes on.
thank goodness the package has been found.
I had to ask dh to leave the dishes for me - his energy is very negative -
mom was together and said - it's good we have you to be the stable person.
she is out of her third circle - she is dressed!

Hi!
I did a lot of stitching yesterday, plus an afternoon nap. It was a restful PJ day.
Today I went grocery shopping. Now it's all away. Still cold here, but very little snow.

LucyLee - I am glad you will have the best option of biopsy and they will have the ability to see everything.
I am joining in with the Y'ALL AREN'T GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!
We arrive at DH eye doctor appt only to be told it was scheduled for tomorrow. DH had received a phone call from them but I can only guess that he didn't understand. Today I requested they change the phone number on his account so they will be calling my phone in the future. ANYway,... we will do a repeat of our 52 mile drive tomorrow. Not complaining though because the doctor comes to this location from the big city hospital to see patients. That saves us from making a 140+ mile drive.
We did a food ingredient buying effort before leaving the city. $440 later we are fully restocked again. I have put the cold things away temporarily but will need to spend some time packaging them into portion sizes that make it easy freeze. Also I bought 5 different kinds of block cheese that needs to be grated and packaged. I am going to take a break with my feet up, then find a show to watch and get started working in the kitchen.
