We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes (from a box) and the rest of the cabbage. Dh put a fire in the fireplace.
It was pouring rain this morning and 4 above freezing. As the day went on the rain let up. Then it started to snow, it got windier and now the temperature is under freezing. After supper I got into bed and read the end of the book I was reading. Dh is watching football.

Re: Step Back To See the Big Picture Saturday
I have enjoyed a slower paced day. With nothing on the calendar I was able to go through the day in a relaxed manner. I got a few things done in addition to daily tasks.
** Decided how to utilize 3 of the 6 new plastic tubs. Items were gathered, sorted and tubs were filled and labeled.
** Cooked 2 meals and a snack.
DS16 called after class with a renewed appreciation for not having to sit in a classroom. He said sitting still for 3 hours made his Tourette tics go wild. We have put systems and learning methods in place for DS16 education experience for so many years that he forgot what it is like to sit still and listen for long periods.

Re: Step Back To See the Big Picture Saturday
I haven't really tried to look at the big picture today... just a normal Saturday. DGD's team won their game 8-4
and dgs came home with me afterwards. We both tried to watch AU vs GA basketball but I think we both fell asleep. Then later, we went to dgs' house and had pot roast (from the 1/4 steer I won last fall) and ddil and I watched Wicked. It was really good. I have no idea how many times ddil has watched it now -- she and her mom went to the theater, and then she got it on A-river Prime and I think she watches it every time she can find someone who hasn't seen it or is willing to see it again. LOL. But it is good, and now I want to see the second part, which she said will be out next fall.
It is going to get REALLY cold here tomorrow evening and I think it's going to stay that way till the middle of the week. I am not looking forward to that. We may get some snow/ice/something? Tuesday but it is a very vague forecast so far.
LadyM -- what kind of class did DS have to go to? Three hours is a long time for anybody.
