Echoing LadyM to bw2:
how are you doing?
What an emotional job, LadyM. Glad you have it behind you. We have sunshine but we're still in the deep freeze with you. I'm with you on the same breakfast. I seem to eat the same foods over and over until one day I'm tired of them. I'm still doing the omelet with kale and 1 oz cheese, about a cup of fruit and 1/4 cup ricotta cheese.

Chicken pot pie and a flannel shirt sounds comfy, Nancy.

Glad you are up to doing desk day and planning embroidery, Harriet. I think my eyes aren't good enough for it anymore - the eye strain would make me crazy. After a day on the computer (like yesterday), I read a couple of hours and then my eyes feel like they just going.

And echoing Harriet from earlier to Lucylee that info from dr sounds reassuring. If you'd talked to this person in the beginning I don't think you would have had so much anxiety?

I've been out for my workout, followed by two banks (deposits only) and CVS for ddog. As soon as I was home I walked ddog a lap so that's done. Thirty degrees, feels like 18. I did call ahead seating for dinner for us - dh has a massage right now so he will meet me there at 6:30.

Tired from workout, and need to clean up a bit and start p.m. routine.

Sometimes I wonder what I do with my time.
Three teens here talking, eating and being typical teenagers.
Neighbor came over to borrow 2 eggs
DS16 boss dropped by to pay him and ended up staying to chat with us.
I think in between those interactions I did things, but I am not sure.

I cooked some breaded cod and about a dozen tostadas which immediately disappeared.

Harriet I would go with 2 to start. If you think it looks too fine, you could easily add another strand.

Re: the doctor yesterday, I would have been just as nervous with her IF she had wanted to do all that without anesthesia. Good gracious it sounds horrible. I am just sooo thankful for my "fancy uterus."

Today dmom and I went to the funeral, and not long after we got home, the Flash Fiber man came to install my new internet.
I am now communicating with you via a "strong" signal, which I have not had for quite some time. I cut the cord with AT&T and I no longer have a landline. One friend commented that when the AT&T hub went out a few years ago, in Nashville, they decided they had to have a landline... but MOST of my friends are quite happy with no landline phone.
I feel a little bit sad, because dh and I had the same phone number from the time we married. But this should save me approximately $50 a month, $600 a year, and it seems silly to keep throwing away that much money.

Dgrands have been over, and ended up having to shower here because they have a terrible water leak and had to cut off the water at the main line. (They were supposed to be on 2-hr delay, but ended up with no school again today. They do expect to be back tomorrow.)
It's 23/feels like 12 here tonight at 9:30 pm, but by noon tomorrow, we should get above freezing. Lows for the Friday & Saturday are still below freezing, but by Sunday the high should be back into the 50s. Definitely glad to see that!

(((LadyM))) -- that had to be a very tiring, emotional task, but it's good of you to have all this for DS and DD if they ever do want to know the full details of these situations.

I was very comfy before dgrands arrived. LOL. I was snuggled into the couch with my favorite blanket and my CudlDuds... (Leggings)... and then they came in. But of course I was glad to see them.

Y'all, I know I watch too much TV, but I am watching a mini series on ABC -- "Scamanda." It is a true story of a woman who scammed her whole community and people all across the world (via the internet) by claiming she had cancer. I cannot imagine pretending to have a life-threatening disease. People contributed thousands of dollars to her and she testified in church about how God was helping her through all this, and it was all just a big scam. I'm just amazed.

Well, I'm going to wave to everyone and sign off. Hope y'all have a great night and tomorrow begins a great weekend for you!
Tomorrow is another day.

How many of you have no landline and rely solely on your cell phones? Cause I’m feeling kinda panicky about this now. Sigh. What else is new?
