G also is expecting a friend next weekend for some hiking. He's from New Zealand and in the states for business. He'll be staying in the small trailer. G bought a "real" mattress for him. He also took down ds/M's loft bed from his teenage years and set it up in the office. It's set up high to be able to walk under it.

Morning Everyone! I am tired of everyone coughing. We need significant rain to tamp down the pollen of the flowering trees to flower more quickly! I have to remind myself that DD32 hasn’t been coughing for a full week until tomorrow and I should expect at least 2 weeks of this.

kittykatt, here's a bit more info on Topaz lineage!
Topaz apples were developed at The Institute of Experimental Botany in the Czech Republic. The variety was created from a cross in the 1990s between two Czech apples, Rubin and Vanda, and was introduced to commercial markets in 2001. Topaz apple’s parent varieties also come from a well-known lineage of famous apple cultivars. Rubin was created from a cross between Golden Delicious and Lord Lambourne, while Vanda also has Lord Lambourne roots. Today Topaz apples have been introduced to apple markets worldwide and are commercially cultivated on a small scale in Europe and the United States. They are also planted in home gardens in North America, Europe, South Africa, and Australia. When in season, Topaz apples are sold through local farm stands, markets, and specialty retailers.

kit ~ good to see you here! Looking forward to our farmer's market as well. Ours is in a mall parking lot. I think they're already holding some things inside the mall, but it will move outside soon.

Refrigerator repair guy made it back today to complete the job. Our garage fridge came in handy while it was down.
